"I hate cryptic talk." Virgil sighs, "I just wish people can say exactly what they mean." "Exactly." One says. Virgil glances at him, "Are you agreeing with me, or are you just copying what I'm saying?" "Copying."
Virgil shrugged, "I suppose so." he agrees, "I suppose I just prefer it when people are blunt, you know. Much less confusion."
"I suppose." Virgil agrees. "But still..." One begins to run ahead and Ki flies ahead to stop him from going to far.
"Be patient, we should be out of this cave soon." Virgil tells him. One sighs and reluctantly waits for the rest to catch up.
"Finally! Sunlight!" Virgil sighs in relief. Ral clambers onto his head to bask in the light. "Careful!"
Jigg nods in agreement, staring wistfully at the sky as if wishing for night to fall sooner. "Moonlight, sunlight, I don't care what kind of light it is. I'm just glad we're back in the open again." Virgil says.
The city is a lot further than initially expected, but once they reach the top of a hill, they can see it in a valley below them.
(internet is terrible over here) Ral crawls out of Virgil's hood and makes a beeline for the cafe, having stolen his wallet. "Do you guys want anything?" she calls over her shoulder.
