@122 Generation "This is beautiful..." Misty admired Evergreen's hat. "I've never seen a hat like this before..." Brock agreed.
Evergreen's face started to go pink out of embarrassment. Oh, thank you! It's - uh - nothing too special where I'm from. Is it really that good-looking? Maria smiled. In her bones, Evergreen was right, but it was possible that hats like the one Evergreen was wearing were rare here. "Ooh... Evergreen. Maybe our friends might know of other fashion items for you."
(Yes, and sombrero is just Tagalog for hat xaxaxa) "How is it not a sombrero?" Lunti and Bagsik looked at Evergreen quizzically. 'It's on your head, and it is harder than cloth, so it is a sombrero,' Bagsik added.
@Jupjami (the group is likely picturing the Mexican hat most people picture when they see "sombrero")
Evergreen stared at the pair and wondered how to reply, with Lunti on one hand and Bagsik on the other. In the end, she thought it was safer to use telepathy. Are you kidding?! You two clearly have no sense of fashion! She crossed her arms in exasperation.
@122 Generation "Oh, Evergreen..." Brock smiled. "I think you look nice." "After all, Gardevoirs and Gallades are known as some of the most beautiful and loyal Pokémon." Serena agreed.
"Aw... Hear that, Evergreen?" Maria grinned. "You always look amazing." In one moment, Evergreen was exasperated, and in the next moment, she showed an expression of shock. Being complimented like that made her want to curl up and hide so she couldn't show her blushes. (Ready to move on whenever, unless someone wants to take a stab at Evergreen XD)
@ChocoChicken @Fchicken77 @ShireHime @Jupjami @122 Generation @Tala Before long, night had fallen, and the group made camp for the night. "If we continue across the plains, we should reach Kogane in three days." Brock mused. "Assuming we don't run into any emergencies."
@Tala The fire was warm and inviting. Brock had already hung a cooking pot over the dancing flames, and was in the process of cooking dinner for the evening.
Seeing the fire, Evergreen took the opportunity to dry off her sun hat. Maria meanwhile had sat close to Brock to see what he was cooking.
@122 Generation Brock was making seeded Combusken with Pinap sauce (similar to sesame chicken in our world). After sprinkling a generous amount of sesame seeds in the pot, he covered the pot to let it cook.
@Jupjami Brock just sighed as he kept working. He had already dropped the matter of the hat's proper name a long time ago.
Evergreen made a face at Lunti. So Lunti really was as crazy as his Treecko. I am drying it, yes, but it is NOT a sombrero! She sighed just like Brock did and continued waving it in front of the fire. Why did she have to be stuck with insane companions? Meanwhile, it seemed like Maria had no problems with them.
