Seeing as everyone else was joining, Perico decided to try his hand at the game - although he wasn't very good at strategy.
@122 Generation @Fchicken77 @ChocoChicken (which jewel type do you want to play? Serena is using the topazes.)
@122 Generation "Oh, you'd like to play the emeralds?" Serena noticed Evergreen's interest in the green stones. "They're not really jewels, just enchanted stones that look like them."
Yes please. Evergreen delicately held up the green stones in her hands to look at them closely, as if mesmerised by them.
@122 Generation "Okay, the emeralds begin at this point right here." Serena pointed out the east point of the star shaped board. "The person playing the rubies always goes first. If you're playing using tournament rules, who starts rotates around the board until everyone has had a turn, looping around to the ruby player again when everyone has had a turn to start."

Mel was amazed and looked at the stones. "I want to have the diamonds" pachirisu eagerly looked at the diamind stones
@Tala "Okay...the diamonds start at the southwest point." Serena explained as she gave Mel the sparkling stones. "The points are your starting point, and a safe zone--stones in the points cannot be turned to another color."
@Tala @122 Generation @Fchicken77 @ChocoChicken "Okay if I join in?" Ash asked. "Of course." Serena replied. "If no one claims the rubies first, you can play them."
"Ooh, shiny stones! Can we join?" Lunti and Bagsik suddenly popped up after a very quick game of Holen. (they are playing as one team, btw)
After thinking for a bit, Peri decided to go with the aquamarines. Serena had mentioned these being enchanted stones. Whoever the enchanter was, they sure were skilled - he couldn't tell real from fake, although a skilled geologist probably could do so easily.
Seeing everyone was invested into the game, Maria sat down beside Evergreen to watch. Evergreen looked excited to play.
