Ever wondered what Pokémon might look like as a Roguelike? Thats what Pokémon Rogue Emerald is all about! Has anyone here ever heard or played this ROM Hack? I wanna talk to other people about it.
oh like 2nd I think... I made a poor choice of starter that did not help things. Lvl 5 Beldum does not do much until a lot later lol
oof yeah. Learned that the hard way... twice. Once it was the starter I went with and the other it was the only other Pokémon I had on my team for a good while
I've been hearing about this hack all over the place for a bit now. Saw a stream of it too. I might do a stream of it sometime as well depending.
Its interesting, kind of a reverse mindset to a nuzlocke that maintains the difficulty. You dont have time to get attached you just have to go go go lol
I think you can still feel the pain of losing a Pokémon, esp if they were a valuable team member. Also you cant store extra Pokémon aside from tye ones in your party so you get extra screwed if someone falls. Cant prep ahead by keeping someone in your back pocket
I ended up doing a playthrough off it off stream. It was interesting to say the least. I should play more rom hacks as they are an interesting mixed bag.
Wow, Pokémon Rogue Emerald is a total game-changer for Poké fans! It's like stepping into a whole new world where your favorite Pokémon are reimagined in a Roguelike format. The concept is so fresh and exciting, and I can't wait to dive in and see how the gameplay unfolds. It's a fantastic fusion of two beloved genres, and I'm here for it!
