relationship between two of my characters

"Brother, can you come here?"

I raised my head from the cool grass and looked at Cinderflower.

"Why can't you come here?" I asked.

"But it won't be a surprise if I come to you."

"Ok, I'm coming."

I gathered some of my energy to get up and sleepily walk towards her.

"Cinderflower, what do you want?"

Cinderflower put one of her hands into a fist and put it into my hands, and she removed her hand to reveal a silver colored moon necklace.

"Cinderflower, this is so sweet," I exclaimed as I put it around my neck.

"I know that in a couple of days you are going to go to the academy to become a soldier, so if you wear this then every time you look at it you can think of me," she said as she put her arms around me.

I welcomed her embrace, and almost wished that this moment would never end.
