    Brock set the DungeonNav name generator to "Elf", then tapped "Generate". "Our goal is a name that is easy to say, and easy to spell."

    He then read out the names the generator made, skipping over overly complex ones. "Lúthion, Gannelon, Rimdor, Castion, Haldor, Brenion. Do you like any of those, or do you want more?"

    "Yes--when I say alignment, I basically mean a character's way of seeing the world, and how they behave in it." Brock explains. "I do enforce the no evil character rule used in Chambers competitive play, so you have six choices. Most player wizards I see besides Ash tend to be either neutral good or lawful neutral."

    Brock made a note on his database. "All right, next we need to come up with a little backstory for your hero--why do they adventure? It doesn't have to be anything long or intricate. Once we have a backstory, the last thing we need to do is decide on starting skills, which should be fairly easy. The arcanist shares many of the same skills as the elementalist."
