(thanks so much!) "Sure, that'd be great!" Emily replied. Combusken was now its eager self again, wandering about in circles. Wingull, too, settled down and perched on the floor once again.
*I do the same lol) Talia walked over to the restaurant and sat on a table outside looking at the sky
"I waz wondering why do you want to be a co ordinator so badly?" Talia asked. She need it to be sure of a few things. Asking lots of questions
"Well, my brother and I have been wanting to go on a journey for a long time, but we didn't have the right meterials nor time to. Until then, we learned from watching others - whether it be on the news, or a local showdown," Emily started, a more distant look in her eyes. "I was interested in the multiple different skills that a single Coordinator has to know - they have to be able to anything a regular Trainer can, but also do it with style. And instead of always making things up on the sport, one has to practice and memorize a routine. And while Trainer battles are mostly private save the League, Contests require getting up onstage and showing your skill to the world - something requiring a lot of nerve and guts to do. My brother often teased me for it, but in my opinion, the level and amount of skills that a talented Coordinator can show is amazing. That's why I decided to become one and try my hand at the art of Contests."
Talia noticed the look but kept quiet about it. "Thay does sound a great way to start " she checkdd the menu. "Im glad you are joining me on my journey
"Ready to order?" The waitress asked. Talia looked. "The day dish please." As she gave the menu back. "And you miss?" She asked
The waitres smiled. "Certainly" Talia had focused on the ceiling and didnt paid much attention to emily
The young Coordinator thanked the waiter. Wingull looked up towards the ceiling, but seeing nothing, he gave Talia a strange look and stayed silent.
Emily didn't seem to mind - she just smiled back. Wingull, however, narrowed his eyes - he wasn't very fond of new people in general, but something seemed a little off to him.
The waitress came back with loafes fo bread and some soup. Talia nodded and started eating. "When is your next contest??" She asked
Before she could dig in, Emily noticed Talia's question. "Oh, uh... I think there's one in Lavaridge Town... in a week or so. Moltres is most likely over there, but I'll probably stay there a few extra days." Taillow, who perched nearby, pecked at some of Emily's bread, seemingly oblivious to Wingull's stiffness.
"I see. I need to check my readings if there are signs of moltres" Talia said. While eatingg plusle and minun came in
Combusken turned his head, seeing the other two Pokémon. He chirped a "hello" and continued eating the bread he'd taken from Emily's plate.
Plusle and minun waved and reported to Talia. She nodded. "Thank you two. Rest up" patting next tp her on the bench.
Emily continued eating in silence for a while, but noted that Wingull seemed strangely peeved. He didn't seem too unusual, though.
