I'd imagine after Spikeford given how everything goes IC, but let's see if host @WavePearl has a better plan for the IoA stuff.
@SAF @122 Generation @ChocoChicken I was hoping to use the Isle of Armor as a pre-Spikeford training arc, but if you can make it work post Spikeford, I can put it there.
Ah. Well uh you might have wanted to tell us earlier, before we started setting up all the Spikeford plans. I would imagine it might work after Spikeford seeing as after the Shadow King is dead there's the hardest one (probably) left
Well, either works, I guess. Might as well have someone (maybe a member of either the resistance or the Society -- or even Josson if you want) direct our MCs there while the Spikeford arc's support party scout ahead (pre-Spikeford) or after everyone get outta town (post-Spikeford). Edit: For the record, I've been curious about the host's original plans for the past DKs hadn't we taken over on that part. This is partially why I agree with Choco about Wave should've told us a little about stuff in advance (preferably unprompted) despite it being a spoiler territory for our MCs. And don't worry about our MCs knowing the meta stuff they shouldn't know -- I believe we all know our limits on that.
@SAF To be honest, I didn't anticipate it getting this far along! But for this final leg of the adventure, I'll make an effort to do better about giving you "you know this, but characters don't" info
In any case, I agree with @SAF that I’d like to see what the host originally planned for the final leg. Even then, it seems the direction that IC is headed is post-Spikeford regarding IoA. Then there’s also the matter of completing the Sword of the Stars in time.
@122 Generation @SAF I had originally planned for IoA to be a pre-Spikeford training arc (which given what we'll face in Spikeford, training might be a good idea
@WavePearl @ChocoChicken @122 Generation Yanno, a PMD incorporation won't be complete without Poke-sona cameos, so lemme just introduce my PSMD ones as NPCs. But unlike the game's MC-partner duo, both of my Poke-sonas have different backstories here. Forrest the Treecko rogue was born and raised in Greenbury. He's about Blacky's age and is now in Kickenham for work. Celine the Fennekin mage is an orphan living in the Kickenham orphanage. She graduated from a local mage school sometime prior to the RP and now works in the Expedition Society with Forrest. If you guys have your own PSMD Poke-sonas, feel free to throw them in here -- and maybe even use the "Nuzleaf and/or Carracosta as parental figures" thing if you want. Maybe someone might mention them IC or maybe we can even work them in as NPCs~
I don't really remember what I was in PSMD, but you've already met Brenna the Squirtle, my Poke-sona from MD Time--and I need to find a way to work in Sammi, my Charmander Pokesona from MD Red.
In that case, you have several options for Sammi: A member of the Expedition Society staying behind at Kickenham (Forrest is this btw); or A member of the Expedition Society joining in the trip to Spikeford (Celine is this btw); or One of Josson's students whom he personally train (Sammi would be a knight-in-training like Blacky in this case); or A member of the Spikeford resistance (you'll want to collab with Choco on this one); or If you have a better idea, feel free to use it.
@SAF @122 Generation @ChocoChicken Be warned, this fantastic Isle of Armor is MUCH bigger than the real DLC (but not so big it needs an RP to itself)
Question to host @WavePearl : What do you think Chief Ampharos should know from the Society's contacts with Spikeford resistance? I've asked Choco earlier and they said this: Spoiler: Choco said
@SAF Chief Ampharos would likely know the basics of what happened, but not details. If he does know details at all, they could be wrong.
Well, fair. I'd imagine (at least) his right-hand Mawile might know more details from the Society's contacts with Spikeford resistance, but how much?
@WavePearl @ChocoChicken @122 Generation Given where we're going IC, anyone's up for a Lapras ride? Or any better ideas on how to get there?
