Guess who's new and is floundering a bit as she tries to figure out what's going on in this crazy but exciting place? It's me! I'm Starli / Star / Starlistic / whatever you'd like to derive from that name, and it's nice to meet you all. Uhh here's a couple quick things— My favorite type is dragon! ... mostly because I love dragons a lot? not just dragon-types, but generally dragon-esque pokémon in general. My first and favorite game is Emerald! I have not been keeping up with the anime or the competitive game scene, oops. I mostly just poke my head in every now and then. I write fics every now and then and I love pokémon aus of just about everything so— I play the piano and am a rhythmic gymnast! \o/ And yeah! I hope to see you all around ~

I'm not sure what to post here right now, but I'm sure I'll be obligated to post something, so I shall begin. First, if you're floundering in a lake, that is probably not a good sign. You may want to move either closer to or further away from the water, depending on how well you can swim. Second, I can always appreciate someone who respects dragons. One more loyal subject to add to the entourage. Third, a pianist and a rhythmic gymnast? Sounds like you have found practises you really enjoy. How are they working out for you? Fourth, what is Starlistic a portmanteau of? I enjoy creativity. So, what are you looking for on LV? A place to chat? Somewhere to share your interests? Some sort of niche to express yourself? Depending on your answer, you may want to start off somewhere specific. I can field any questions headed my way.
I don't think I could pick an absolute favorite, but Rayquaza's always been way up there on my list! Latios is nice too, and so is Salamence and Dragonite and Haxorus and— I could just list all the dragons, haha. And will do! ^^ First— I know how to doggy paddle, will that help? I took swimming classes... at some point... possibly 11 years ago but shh, details. thanks for the advice regardless d: Second— yesss the more dragon supporters the better! Third— well, I just started college and... they've kinda fallen by the wayside since neither my teacher or coach are here. However I recently discovered a bunch of practice rooms with pianos, so that at least will still continue! I just need to explore more and find the gym that'll work for gymnastics, and then I'll be set. Fourth— I dunno if it'd count as creative, but it's something along the lines of "starlight" + the suffix "-listic". I used to throw "starlightisms" around a bit but it got too clunky for my liking, so I switched it around a bit! thank you for the welcome! I hope so as well ^^
Treading water will be of some assistance, yes. And at least you still attempt to find ways to keep up the habit while in college! Not everyone can safely say that. I can tell you like Pokémon rather avidly, so strolling by those sections should be relatively effortless for you, but what other sorts of interests do you have? What sorts of things do you like to talk about or share? That may give you an idea of where you want to start posting next.

\o/ I'm trying my best to settle in without completely losing some of my old habits. Hm... well, at the moment I have a habit of gushing about my favorite characters which for now consist of a few kids from bnha and other animanga and... I'm not too sure, actually, wups. I am one of those tenacious people who still play pokémon GO for some reason, too. I dunno, I'm gonna poke around a bit and just see if anything sticks out at me. Probably a good place to start, I suppose. I know there are a lot of people around on the forums that like My Hero Academia, so you could get a fair amount of conversation there. I recall on Discord whenever a new episode would come out, the crowd would go crazy over it. I hope your poking hunt is productive. After a while I may pop back in again to see how you've been doing, so we'll see how much progress you've made!
