"No, it's fine, you can come," Vincent said, "although I have to warn you my place isn't... that good."
"You don't seem to have a place to stay either, so you might as well stay with me," Vincent said, trying to convince Neil once more.
"Well, it's a good thing that Neil finally has a place to stay," Lily said, happy with how things turned out.
"I'll go ahead and show you to the place you'll be staying at for a while," Vincent said before guiding Neil into a medium sized room with a bed, a dresser, mirror, and intricately designed curtains. If anything, Vincent was just being modest.
"If you need anything else, don't hesitate to call," Vincent added before finally leaving Neil alone.
While he lay in bed and looked up at the ceiling, he thought, 'Maybe this place might be okay after all.' However, it was at this moment Izy arrived at her own house to see that her chocolate machine seemed to be steaming as she uttered, "Oh yeah, I'm supposed to turn that off when I leave the house," and thus it exploded as suddenly, a large burst of liquid chocolate came out and headed through her front door, many people in extreme panic as it seemed to be headed into town with a huge possibility of flooding it.
As Lily was just planning on closing up shop, she instantly heard people screaming and running a few streets away. She was very sensitive to noises, and this was no exception. She went outside for a look until she managed to see the citizens running from what seemed to be a flood. "Is that... a mud flooding the town?" She muttered. She took an even closer look and realized that it wasn't mud. "Is that chocolate?!" She yelped before running as the flood was coming pretty closer to where she stood.
Neil blinked when he heard screams coming from outside, peering out the window and gasping, "What!?" Was this really happening?
As much as Neil was alarmed, Vincent could hear the sloshing of oozing chocolate outside. He rushed to look at his window to confirm his suspicions before nodding at himself. "I knew it," he muttered. He ran out of his room, calling Neil from his own, "Hey!" Vincent said as he tapped on the door.
However, Neil had already leapt out of the window, but as he was about to escape from town, he noticed a child trip in the middle of the street. Thus he bit his lower lip and dashed toward the kid, picking him up and noticing even more people struggling, including an elderly man walking at a literal snail's pace and sighing, "Okay," before taking him by the arm and dragging him and the kid with him.
Vincent ran outside the house, running away from the flood as fast as he could. Somewhere farther than where everyone else were, Lily continued to run as fast as she could for her life. She was fond of chocolate, but not this much. "Please, enough of the chocolateeeee!" Vincent took a left turn and found himself even closer to the choco flood, but he also noticed Lily. "Hey, you were that girl from earli-" His sentence was cut when he noticed a few people tripping up after running. He gave Lily a short nod before the two went on to help the poor people who fell down and could be submerged in chocolate in the next few seconds.
However, after putting his people in a safer spot, Neil noticed the chocolate getting dangerously close to Lily, forming an actual hand and a monstrous face. With that, the boy sighed and raced toward her, scooping her up in his arms and leaping into a tree.
Lily was surprised to see that she had suddenly been carried by Neil. It was strange, but she was thankful that he helped her after realizing that she could've been swallowed whole by chocolate. "T-thanks," she muttered before standing up.
