Hey guys, what do you think of the Ash-Greninja thing for aun and moon. Tried it, it was awsome. What are your thoughts?
I thought it was a neat demo exclusive, however I never used him-same with Mega Galie in AS. I only 'recently' (like, post-game, working on the Pokédex..so months ago) went and trained up the Munchlax event to a Snorlax. I personally don't like to use event Pokémon during the main story of the game, as they tend to become OP due to boosted EXP (same for in-game trades/GTS-Wondertrade) and special moves (if they have them).
Actually, while playing the demo, while you have Sun or Moon in your 3Ds enter the Pokémon center and you will see Prof Kukui, go to him and press the send to full version, and select Greninja. And that Ladies and gentlemen is how you get the Ash-Greninja in the full version of Sun ans Moon. I tried to use it on Kiwae"s trial because none of my Pokémon were strong against fire. lets just say I beat it without it and forgot to heal my team. Went to the next route. It was my last Pokémon. Wouldn't listen to a thing I said. I'm surprised I made it through without blacking out.
Yeah, it can be pretty cool, but I forgot to mention, it wont listen until you have compleated at least TWO grand trials, other then that, the things awsome, and the rmatin sequence is amazing.
I knew that it wouldn't listen to me I just didn't know how bad it would be since I never have over leveled Pokémon
Yeah, its happened to me before, in Pokémon White, you see at the time I just got white 2 and transfered the legendary to white, I tried to use Regice but it wouldn't lesten, and the sad part was, it was the last Pokémon I had for a gym battle against the normal type user, and I won because he listened yto me at the right time.
I am not too big a fan of it to be honest, I wish it had another name or wasn't related to an event in the show. The manga idea was cool and all but now that it is the Pokémon taking the characteristic it looks a little funny.
I agree, if it was battle bond greninja, and was maybe part of a group of battle bond Pokémon maybe. Other than that it's just a weird greninja with a kind of cool water shuriken. Other than playing through the demo, I haven't used it.
It's a cool little bonus tie-in. It's doubtful I'll ever use it really. Its stats after Battle Bond takes effect are apparently pretty damn OP (from what I have heard said, I haven't looked them up myself). I'm glad to have it though, as a collector thing. Did not soft reset for nature or anything. I'm somewhat curious if Battle Bond can be bred but ehh I am thinking it's not possible or else it would have been spoken about a lot by now (anyone knows different let me know)
Yeah that doesn't surprise me. I wonder if we'll see any more Pokémon with this ability in the future? I mean precedent is there now.
Yeah and to tell you guys the truth, I had always thought that thing a little more of an Ash-Pikachu happening because they have been through so much then any of Ash's other Pokémon.
I know this is I'm about to post is anime-relate, not game-related like the rest is probably. But...I saw Greninja under Sun and Moon...so I just had to! [3D='greninja'] Anyways, I would LOVE it for Ash's Greninja to come back in the anime! With all of the treatment it's getting in the game and all... The other day I was reading a really great post-Lusamine battle fanfic where Squishy, Z2 and Greninja have returned to help Ash. Unfortunately, in the story...Ash died in the beginning and the story is about his friends having to live without him...anyways, it's good and I would definitley recommend it (it's on fanfiction.net, titled Moving on without him. But still, what do y'all think? Should Ash's Greninja (and also the Kalosian Zygarde cores...as Greninja is protecting them as of XY&Z) return and Ash catch them/add or return them to his team? I'm not that surprised that Ash Greninja is in the game, but I'm surprised not many people actually use him.
I know, although, to tell you all the truth, it disn't come to me until after I beat the game, and by the way, prof Kukui was a troll. It took me two days to beat him. But now I will have Greninja in my party when I beat the game.
