    It occurred to me on a fateful day: I'm writing the character bio for my Ninetails character, Ignatius. It was prim and proper, everything was in place. A true mastah-piece of a character.

    "You realize it's spelled Ninetales, right?" Marine says to me...

    Everyone has a Pokémon name they consistently misspell. For the longest time, mine was Ninetails Ninetales. What's yours? Fess up to your crimes below!

    I always spelled 'Salamence' as 'Salamance'. I had no idea it was spelled any differently until recently and the fact shocked me.

    Yeah, especilly Feraligatr. You know, the name is actually spelled that way because of the character limitations in computing power in Gold and Silvers' production. That was the upper limit on how many characters an item or name could have attributed to it.

    I've only made the 'Ninetails' misspelling once, but aside from Garbodor and Salamence I do tend to have trouble with Xernas Xerneas.
