A forlorn, nostalgic love of mine comes in the form of pet sites. From Neopets to Flight Rising, there is something satisfying to simple gameplay loops and having something "grow". Lot's of collecting and setting goals just gives me a nice zen moment in my day tending to my digital creatures. So I am curious, am I the only one on here that still partakes in these sites? I know at least one other person on here hangs out on Flight Rising and I would love to know if there are more out there!
I've never had my own online pet, but I have fond memories of using my friend's Webkinz account to play minigames and the like. I wanted one for years, but never got it
I do still play on some, I have a few I visit daily either just to check out, pick up new pets or to do daily tasks. Flight Rising is the one I'm most active on, been playing on that since the public launch.
Ngl. Ive always wanted to play those games but always got scared of them. My mom used to say those sites causes computer viruses and I was too scraed to see if they did. Now im not sure if theyre even active enough to play anymore. If you have any recommendations I wouldnt mind trying
Oh yea! When I was a little kid both me and my parents had a Moshi monsters account. It shutdown but was revived. I still follow the discord regularly and occasionally play.
My sisters and I had some of the Webkinz plushes. I think we went on the website a few times, but it's a vague memory...
