While I was cleaning up my images folders I found a old drawing I had done years before I got my dA account. Decided to re-draw the character within it, why not? I don't remember her original name, although I'm guessing it was Crystal because I had a thing for years where I'd name random OCs Crystal because its a nice name. She came about when I reached Chaos Angel zone in Sonic Advance 3. 'What/Who is Chaos Angel?' I remember thinking, and ended up drawing this character thinking on it. Colors based on a Angel Chaos Chao, and a literal angel.. heh...
Betsy the Whiscash is one of Flandria's closest team mates, often being second in command when the Charizard is away. She started life in a underwater cavern, bullied and hurt by others as she was a kind soul who refused to fight. Flandria was the same, knocking her aside quickly- but seeing a fire type braving the water, made her admirable. Betsy followed Flandria through, befriending the Charmeleon and learning to stand for herself. Although Betsy still prefers peace, she can fight back now, with her friends by her side.
Joy the Raticate came from a family of Joey. She was originally named Joey as well, among a massive family of Joey. Joy felt like she was nothing more than a shadow of her siblings and parents and aunts/uncles, ect. When she heard a Charmander was passing through she took the chance to leave the forest her family called home with Flandria. Flandria, at first, found Joy a bore and didn't want her around.. but Joy stuck around anyways and proved herself a versatile and wonderful team mate. Joy has taken up a job of mechanic work, and makes all the amputations her partners sports-including her own. Ducky the Swanna is a very nitpicky perfectionist, and can make or break a event. She keeps her past silent, but those very close to her- such as Shadria the Snorlax- are aware that she was born male. Ducky transitioned before she joined Shadria's group and can hide it fairly well. Adir the Shiny Krokorok is a character I made for a PMD-based RP/Comic group that I was in for a few years (there were two versions of this group and they both ended up dying after 1-2 stories). Adir was abandoned by his pack as a toddler because in their belief system, shiny Pokémon mean doom is near. A group of explorers found him and took Adir in, exposing him to modernized civilization and the world of a Rescuer Guild. Adir has now grown up into that awkward teenage stage, learning more about himself (such as the fact he's gay) and exploring his likes and thinking of his future career. He's totally anime/videogame/comic trash (his prized item is a Sealed First Edition Crobatman and Starly Adventures), and is too scared for mission work.
