You know.. I actually am not sure. ; ;/ I've realized lately that both are awesome. Originally I liked Lunala more but Solgaleo has quickly become a favorite and I've grown attached (especially since it's a cat, huge brownie points). I suppose I'll say I like Solgaleo a teeny bit more now.. but they're still pretty much even. =p
In terms of battling I've yet to try them out, but I prefer Lunala over Solgaleo. Night skies has always been my aesthetic, and Lunala is as sleek and graceful as it comes!
I always prefered Lunala. The only problem I have with it is that I don't have a bag big enough to put it in.
Although I have Pokémon Moon and Lunala looks like a beautiful Pokémon, I think I'd have to go go with Solgaleo. Lunala has 4x weaknesses, which is a pain when it comes to an battle with either the Ghost or Dark type. Solgaleo has some good resistances because if its Steel typing, and Psychic type is pretty good too. And it looks super cool and sleek!
I prefer Lunala from both a design and competitive aspect. Its ability is similar to Multiscale(halves damage at full hp) and it has access to Calm Mind and Roost, making it a potential sweeper. Although its typing makes it vulnerable to certain threats, it is still ridiculously strong. I love how its wing match the moon ball animation as well.
I've become a lot fonder of Lunala after hunting for a Modest Cosmog. Plus, the typing, even with the weaknesses, is very solid. #MissingNo
Lunala for me! I've never been much of a big Solgaleo fan... something about its design screams "meh" to me. Meanwhile Lunala is a badass evil-looking bat, so what more can I ask for?
I would say Solgaleo because I put them against one another and my Solgaleo was able to one shot Lunala easily, and I just like the design of Solgaleo overall. (Liger Zero, how did you get into the Pokémon world?)
