Group RP Pokémon + Kirby: Fallen Stars (IC)

Given the bomb team's attitudes so far, Blacky had to agree with Evergreen for this one. On one hand, they had Sword and Blade who were about as serious as their liege. But on the other hand, if Flamberge's fiery attitude meshed with Kotone's even more childish attitude than the actual child (i.e. Maria) could ever be, even Sword and Blade might have a hard time dealing with them both. "Actually, Flamberge, I think you'd better off dealing with the majū," [Jitsu wa, Furan Rūju-san, ano majū to torihiki shita hō ga ī to omoimasu,] the Umbreon raised a paw. And turning to Airin, he said, "Fletcher, you go with them," [Furecchā-san, Maria-santachi to issho ni ikimasu,] much to Airin's surprise ("Wait, me?" [Ē? Watashi?] she typed on her morse watch). Hearing this, Blacky nodded and Brenna assured via sign, "Don't worry about me." The latter then asked the former, "How about you, though?" [Burakkī-san wa?] with the swordsmon telling her that he's going to raid the medic room and the Primarina lady seconding him ("Ah, me too!" [Ā, atashi mo!]).

As for who should go where, Susie had a rough plan for it. A very rough plan.

• "Majū distraction squad, go stir some chaos in barracks, mess hall, and training room." [Majū kibarashi-tai, heisha, shokudō, kunren-shitsu de konran o makiokoshimashou.]
• "Snowy, you and I will go straight to the command center." [Shiron-san, watakushi-tachi wa komandosentā ni chokkō shimasu.] Snowy nodded to this, of course.
• "Kābī-kun no chīmu, kakurega de Naitomea o mitsukete kudasai. Matawa, Naitomea ga soko ni inai baai wa, kōjōdesu." [Kirby's team, you'll want to find Nightmare in his lair. Or the factory, if he's not there.] Cue Blacky cross-checking the maps to find out that the factory was, indeed, the chessboard sanctum Fumu'd previously talked about.
• "Bomb squad, I highly suggest to plant the bombs in the armory and some turrets. And infirmary too, once the raiders out." [Bakudan shori han, buki-ko to ikutsu ka no hōtō ni bakudan o shikakeru koto o tsuyoku o susume shimasu. Shinryaku-sha ga dete kitara, shinryōsho mo.]

Yes, Susie did say that. But no, she wasn't sure where the berry raiders should go after they procured enough supply of berries. Not that she needed to worry, for Blacky decided to pick up where she left off. "Lord Viridi, Sir Meta Knight, Siriana," [Biridi-sama, Metanaitokyō, Jiriana-san,] he called out to his fellow raiders. And yes, he formally addressed Viridi there because Virizion, like any other legendary Pokémon, was pretty much revered back in his home world. "Once we get our berries, let's split up and get them to the other teams," [Kinomi o teniireta-ra, tewake shite hoka no chīmu ni todokemashou,] the otherworldly warrior instructed. However, realizing that Meta Knight was the only one in the group who had no idea about berries and their uses, Brenna knelt down to the local knight and said, "Dono kinomi ga nani no tame ni mono ka o tsutaeru hitsuyō ga arimasu ne," [We do need to tell you which berry is for what, though,] to which Blacky wholeheartedly agreed.

 

(Friendly reminder: Blacky's order was specifically directed to those raiding the medical bay. For everyone else, including Sword and Blade, Susie did the commanding instead.

As for the who does what:

Flamberge has a choice between planting the bombs or causing chaos in the majū ranks (@ChocoChicken?) and I'm not even sure what Belle and Evergreen would do (@122 Generation?). That, and I also need to make sure I got Bun's and the toys' roles right (@Azelflover1?) as well as trying to find the right time for clearing up Taranza's role.)

To his fellow knight, Blacky nodded. "Yeah. We Pokémon usually eat them raw. Right, Lord Viridi?" [Ā. Pokémon-tachi wa tsūjō, kinomi o namade tabemasu. Nā, Biridi-sama?] he turned to the Virizion at the last sentence. "I remember mentioning one of them last night, when I asked Maria if she had some Pecha..." [Sakuya, Maria-chan ni Momon ga aru ka dō ka tazuneta toki ni, kinomi no hitotsu ni tsuite genkyū shita koto o oboete...] Brenna reminisced about last night's skirmish when a problem not native to this universe had popped up.

And then Blacky paled.

"All right, whatever you say." Flamberge shrugged at Blacky's changing her position. "Gives me more freedom to get fired up, ahahaha!"
(In terms of dealing with majū that would be putting her with Gus and Amanita, correct? Or would she be paired with one of the other teams as a backup fighter? If she's with Gus and Amanita they might need a third person to keep those two safe from what is probably going to be the resulting wildfire ksfjafkd)

(Yes, Berge would be with Gus and Amanita, though whether they'll stick together or part ways will be up to y'all. Also, I'd say our best bet would be Brenna delivering the berries from medbay to those three because Blacky specifically told the medbay group to part ways as soon as they got their berries.)

Meanwhile, "Fumu-san, Bun-kun," [Fumu, Bun,] Taranza called out to the local kids. "Sukunakutomo omocha no denchi o kōkan ka?" [Can you, at least, change the toys' batteries?]

 

(I needed a moment to re-orient myself with the RP and the setting Also, Kotone's mind being more childish than the actual child may imply Maria is more mature than she looks...)

Evergreen picked up Belle into her arms. "Whelp, looks like we might as well lend a hand in attacking, but yes -" She looked at the kids. "Changing the batteries may be in order." In her mind, she was wondering what Flamberge might be capable of. Would Flamberge be jumpy? She guess she would.

Maria listened carefully to Susie. It probably made sense to take out the turrets. That way, they might have less risk of getting shot down should they try to make an escape.

(Apparently my break from this RP took much longer than intended. Apologies. )

Just when Susie was about to show everyone the airship's layout, Meta Knight inquired about their current location. "Ara, chotto sumimasen," [Oh, a moment please,] the robot lady replied before heading back to the cockpit. She needed to cross-check with her co-pilot for this one.

And then Taranza sweatdropped. He didn't mean for the kids to change the toys' batteries right away -- just wanted to make sure they could do it when needed. "Ā, ōkē..." [Ah, okay...] he tried to not sound dejected. "Komandosentā ni ikimasu na." [I'll go to the command center then.]

Meanwhile, Blacky took a mental note on who's going where as he listened in. Unlike three years ago where he had a tactician doing the assigning, everyone here practically assigned themselves.

Yep, Blacky could see that the majū distraction squad had too many grass-types -- maybe would be too dangerous with Flamberge in the mix. Plus, the command center infiltrators looked like they could use more people.

"In that case..." [Soredewa...]

After some deliberation, the dark-type warrior finally decided how the infirmary raiders would split up once they got their berries:

• "Lord Viridi, go catch up with the bomb squad. " [Biridi-sama, bakudan shori han ni oitsuite itte kudasai.]
• "Siriana, join the distraction squad. We cannot let our grass-types burn there." [Jiriana-san, kibarashi-tai ni sanka shite kudasai. Bokura no kusa-taipu o moyasu koto wa dekimasen.] One look at Flamberge and Brenna immediately responded with a serious, "As you wish, sir." [Wakarimashita.]
• "Sir Meta Knight, please head to the command center after the raid. Snowy should know which berry is for what." [Metanaitokyō, shūgeki-go wa komandosentā ni itte kudasai. Shiron-san wa dono kinomi ga nani no tame ni aru no ka shitte iru hazudesu.] Cue Snowy's "Huh?" upon hearing her name being mentioned.
• "And how about you?" [Burakkī-san wa?] Brenna inquired once again. "I'll catch up with Kirby." [Kābī-kun ni oitsukimasu.]

It was then closed off with an obligatory question, "Any objections?" [Iron gozaimasen ka?]
