I... don't think that's the case, no. Here's the rundown of who-goes-where afaik:

• Aine, Chief Ampharos, and Josson are at the inn
• Mawile is at the library
• Buizel and Bunnelby are in the markets
• Idk where Xuehua and Swirlix even are
• Celine, Archen, and Blacky are at the town's main guild, Order of the Golden Sakura
• Atelier is (afaik) in a mage's guild but not sure which one out of these three he's in:

Given the way Wave plays the archmage, is it safe to assume that Atelier is tagging along with Celine's group?

 

If I had to guess, Atelier would be at the Violet Dawn guild, seeing as he mentioned mages. I'll probably plop Xuehua down over there at this point too

 

Problem is, according to @WavePearl's phrasing from this point up to several next posts, it sounds like the Clefable archmage is currently existing in two places at the same time which is theoretically impossible. How should we rectify this?

On a different note, unless host @WavePearl has other plans, I have a random thought for the last hurdle of this RP. Spoiler alert for late-game FE Fates stuff, however.

Spoiler: Sol DK lair?

I'd imagine the Sol DK's lair will be somewhat inspired from these three stages from FE Fates: Revelation. He will also use his previous adversaries as his "mini-boss" minions with Dynamax (or Gigantamax for certain mons) thrown in the mix. In our case, these mini-bosses were part of Josson's previous team as they were the latest challengers before our MCs, so to speak.

Part 1

The first part of the lair has a Dynamaxed Espeon minstrel for the mini-boss. Her stage will involve stealth (or maybe its lack thereof) and choosing between doors which might trigger booby traps if you choose the wrong door -- more or less like Mikoto's stage. And for the mini-boss herself, I'm open to any ideas for her song-based attacks.

Part 2

The second part of the lair has a Gigantamaxed Cinderace warrior as its mini-boss. I'd imagine he and Josson will share their spellblades but with this one being more fire-dominant and lacking water and ice attacks because Cinderace. However, as much as I want to reimagine Sumeragi's stage here, I'll need to figure out what mechanism to use in lieu of the Dragon Veins...

Part 3

For the final part of the lair, right before the Dragon King, I kinda have Gunter's stage in mind: pretty straightforward weren't it for the unlimited horde of goblins/rogue mons/whatever getting in the way. Unlike back at the Earth lair however, the horde will only end upon finishing off the mini-boss: a Dynamaxed Jolteon knight in Josson's likeness because the real one is still alive. That, or the mini-boss can even be Josson himself if you're up for a "possessed ally" situation -- though I'll need to have him act all sus throughout the campaign if we do go for that route, heh.

In all the mini-boss fights, we'll also have a chance to Dynamax someone in the party to (hopefully) even the odds like in a Max Raid Battle provided at least one member knows how.

 

Then she needs to save that for the Sol DK fight's second phase -- especially if Josson manages to outlive the first phase's 10 turns limit.

Or... does it double as a Dynamax spellsong?

 

Ah, I see. Are there any other ways to Dynamax/Gigantamax for other classes?

 

Quick question - Xuehua's been out for a while since I don't really know if I have a good point to insert her back in. I can come back in when needed, but do y'all have a preference on how I do it so it's not too metagame-y?

 

So this is where you left Xuehua off IC:

From there she can:

• Join Mawile in the library;
• Visit one of the local guilds (Golden Sakura, Bright Harp, or Violet Dawn);
• Go shopping in the markets (and potentially meet Bunnelby and Buizel on the way); or
• Just stay at the inn with Aine (I can have Blacky and co. to not notice Xuehua until you dump her in somewhere).

And for the record, Archen did call out to her but she didn't seem to notice him, so...

 

Yeah, on that one I didn't respond in time, got caught up in other stuff
I was originally planning on dumpin her at the inn, but I think it might be a better idea for her to head for Mawile actually

 

So... random questions:

To @122 Generation, is Atelier still in the guild or outside right now?

And to @WavePearl, since our Mawile is reading about Dynamax, what knowledge will she get from it? Feel free to DM me if it's too spoiler-y -- I need it for my reply on Xuehua's end.

 

Certain locations... like in Sol DK's lair? No matter whose lair design we'll end up using, I do wanna have the Dynamax part as a lair gimmick at least once...
