Group RP Pokemon Legends: The Dragon Pearls and the White Ghost (IC thread)

(I'm voting for uneventful road, though a night in Jubilife Celebration Village would be in order. Maybe we can save that first eventful thing on the way to Oreburgh Iron Village?)

As the group moved along, Junaiper watched their back for whatever might happen on the road. With constant vigilance, if you will. Although...

...seems like nothing out of the ordinary happened so far.

 

Kotone cheerfully and playfully nudged the Decidueye’s side. “Aw, you worry too much! Mako and I just walked down this road this morning! We ran into no trouble. Absolutely none. It’s not even luncht yet! Chances are, I bet, we’ll be there safe.”

Belle buried her face in her little hands. To Kotone’s credit, she’ll make light of a situation out of anything. It’s like Kotone was trying make this adventure as easygoing as possible.

Makoto, saying nothing, had to agree with Belle.

 

Aaron isn't so sure. Being a Lucario, he's able to sense hadō, and he could alert everyone if an enemy strikes before they do. Everyone might think he's acting crazy over nothing, though. ....everyone except Fumiko, that is.

"Eh, better safe than sorry, especially with those goons from Beguiling Stars around," Fumiko shrugged at Kotone's remark as the latter nudged Junaiper's side. The older girl then turned to Junaiper with a "Right, Jun-sama?" which was responded with a nod from the Decidueye.

Nagisa, meanwhile, wasn't really amused by Kotone's attempt to lighten up the situation. What did actually amuse him was Fumiko casually mentioning what the redhead missed out just a moment ago: Sage Rowan's warning of the Beguiling Star Sect.

As soon as the group arrived at Celebration Village, the first thing on Nagisa's to-do list was to get Emina her own canvas. He wandered around, looking for whoever selling painting equipments...

(Question to host: do shopkeepers in general know sign? Nagisa might switch to his writing board if they (or at least some of them) don't know sign.)

Apparently, Golden Delphox's appearance confused the blonde in a starry robe. For one, Fumiko had no idea that the other blonde girl was Golden Delphox. Plus, she didn't even know Kalusien, let alone speak it. It filled her mind to the point of nearly not noticing that the silvery aura with a dash of rainbow (read: Nagisa) was gone. When she did notice it, Fumiko sweatdropped in a dilemma. Golden Delphox was here but someone else's missing. What to do...?

[I think I know where the kiddo's off to. Want me to look for him?] Junaiper's offer snapped Fumiko back to reality. And yes, he referred to Nagisa as "the kiddo" because he's the youngest of the bunch. "Y-yes, please," she whispered back. That said, Junaiper went off to the market's direction.

Speaking of Nagisa, he finally found a props shop (well, a shop selling puppets, painting equipments, and other performers' things) in the local market. He looked for the shop's ningo sign before entering it.

 

Mai and her Pokémon are all quite confused about what Pearl Deerling said to this blonde stranger. Not even they have seen the Guardian Spirits, so they really don't know who this person is.

Well, at least this shopkeeper does know sign, Nagisa thought. While the ningo sign board for this shop was there, he probably didn't notice. "Ah, good day to you too," he signed anyway. "Do you have a Smeargle-sized painting canvas?"
