I think legendary Pokémon have the best shinies, or at least are ones that don't suffer from poor colors or just being one shade lighter/darker. So I'm curious- what are your favorite shiny legendary Pokémon? I think shiny Xerneas, Shaymin, and Lunala are pretty gorgeous.
I adore the shinies of the XYZ and the Sun-Moon mascots, especially how they were made with a consistent and matching theme in mind, even if that consistent theme is just let's replace a color with a cool color. Beyond that, I don't think I particularly like any. Honestly, I kind of hate Mewtwo's shiny, and wish it looked more like the dark Mewtwo from Pokken. That's a good color scheme, much better than pukey green.
I love shiny Sogaleo, Xerneas, Lugia, Rayquaza, Articuno, Moltres, and there are probably others that I don't remember at the moment, but I think that all of them either look cool or they look pretty to me.
My favourites are shiny Ho-oh, Xerneas, Latias, Latios, Dialga, Giratina, and Raikou. Spoiler I also love shiny mega (and regular) Rayquaza and primal Kyogre. EDIT: Just realised I forgot Virizion!
Shiny Cresselia is stunning, I can't believe I didn't mention it >.< I agree, I really don't know what's up with Gamefreak and its obsession with gross shades of greens. I've actually never seen shiny Primal Kyogre, but a quick google search and... wow. That's gorgeous. The black against the gold is so amazing! I wanna thank the guy who decided on that color scheme.
Shiny Rayquaza > any other shiny legendary (Although shiny Xerneas and Suicune are pretty cool too! Also Genesect )
Ho-oh, Celebi, Entei, Shaymin, and Lunala are my favorites. Ho-oh is silver and gold, Celebi is just adorable and I loved it in PMD, Entei and Shaymin just have really solid shiny colors, and Lunala looks like a blood moon, which is awesome.
Shiny Shaymin, Latios/Latias, Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Manaphy... I could keep going on and on but basically all the small legendaries have pretty nice shiny colours!
