"Hmm, eating near the window would be nice!" Kiseki dashed towards the seat, making herself comfortable as she waited for Kirito to take his.

Something strange popped up in Kiseki's vision though as she looked outside from the window. It looked like some sort if tree that had rainbow leaves.

 

Kiseki turned back to Kirito, dismissing whatever she saw. It was nice being able to sit down together again, eating dinner at the same table. To Kiseki, a year of waiting wasn't ideal, but at least Kirito returned. "I might just get something light then have desert after," she smiled, leaning closer to the table, "but how about you?"

 

The two had a wonderful evening, catching up with one another. As she thought, Kiseki really enjoyed her meal. Steak with mushrooms were definitely a classic that she enjoyed. The restaurant served tasty food for a reasonable price and it was the main reason why she kept coming back in the first place.

“Do you want to see if Kuran is already home?” Kiseki asked, looking at Kirito.

 

Kiseki stayed quiet for a few moments before returning to her usual cheery side. "Do you want to take a walk first before seeing him again? It may help calm you down."

 

“I’m sure he’ll be glad to see you,” Kiseki assured Kirito, holding his hand from across the table. “The two of you need to figure this out... and it’s now or never,”

 

The two eventually left the restaurant, walking towards the house. Kiseki continued holding Kirito’s hand in order to keep him calm. She was hoping that things could finally work out between them.

 

Kiseki senses Kirito’s grip on her tightening. She turned to him for a second and smiled at him, sending him a message that everything will work out fine. She then turned back to Kuran to greet him a “Good evening,” She then looked at Kirito, then to Kuran. “Uh, as you can see... Kirito has, uh, returned. Good news, isn’t it?”

 

Kiseki smiled, not realizing that tears were also forming in the corner of her eyes. When they dropped to her cheeks, her eyes widened, wiping them off. She had been wanting to help the two of them reconcile, but she didn’t know how.

“I guess time really fixes everything,” Kiseki thought, smiling as she witnessed the hug between the two.

 

Kiseki gave Kirito a "you got this" kind of look, raising her balled hands at the height of her chest. This was it, the time where they could fix everything. Kirito shouldn't back down now.

"You can do it," she muttered, wondering if Kirito heard it, but it was fine if he didn't.

 

“Yes, we have already eaten outside,” Kiseki said, smiling. It had been ages since the last time she saw the two of them together, and now that they were together proved that things do change.
