Gen 2 Planned Team for Johto?

Typhlosion, Umbreon, Gyarados, Hitmonchan, Ampharos/Magneton, and Miltank

 

Chikorita, Furret, Togetic, Ampharos, Suicune, Arcanine, probably.

 

...no clue. I just pick stuff at random, and say "well, good enough"

 

Chikorita, Furret, Dunsparce, Ampharos, an eeveelution and some other random. XD

 

I dont plan, I play, whatever comes my way that sticks with me is in my party.

 

It is rather sad that such a nice poke comes so late in game.

 

Hmm... probably going to go with Typhlosion, Ampharos, Noctowl, Heracross, Umbreon, and a water type to help surf. Which... oddly enough, sounds close to the team that one of my RP characters has...

Tauros

Jumpluff
Wippor
Magneton

Could change but I feel pretty strongly bout the team

 

One of the teams I've thought about trying out is
Typlosion, Crobat, Ampharos, Donphan, Umbreon/Espeon (I won't do Stone evos and won't stop it from evolving at any time), Bellosom/Vileplume

 

I'll probably wing it as I go along. Probably need to get an ice type user relatively quick since it goes a long way in taking on the league.

Last time I had Silver: Feraligatr, Donphan, Arcanine, Ursaring, Heracross and Lugia

 

Mainly because I never really plan out my team ahead of time, it will likely contain the first flying type I come across, Typhlosion, Ampharos, Umbreon, and then whatever else sticks with me.

 

I probably won't get the virtual console games until around Christmas or something, but my team will most likely be:



I don't think this'll be the exact team if I do plan on getting Virtual Console Silver, but I just might.

 

I don't always end up with a planned team because sometimes my interests change mid game and a Pokémon I normally wouldn't catch could end up pulling the weight for the team so who knows.

Ideally I'd like a balanced team with as much type variety as possible and a good mix between offensive and defensive stats for switching. I like to have a solid fire/water/grass core with the other three consisting of other types.

 

TYPHLOSION, Crobat, Ampharos, Tyranitar, Espeon, and Porygon2

 

My planned teams never work...but I was thinking of Ampharos, Feraligatr, Lugia, Umbreon, Ninetales, and my typical HM slave or something.

Personally, I'm thinking of getting Feraligatr, Ampharos, Heracross, Umbreon, Crobat, and Bellossom. ...Or whatever rare Pokémon I manage to catch throughout my adventure.
