Group RP Plates of Fate (the RP)

Though he had been waiting at the entrance a while, away from most of the commotion, Jake did take note of the few names he overheard. The friendly guy from earlier was a Blake Crawley, there was someone else called Kotone with some Pokémon he didn't know named Mochi... The contest really was shaping up to be something real noteworthy, he had to admit.

He kept an eye out for the stranger who had called everyone to the contest in the first place. Was she in the crowd? Not at all? And if she wasn't going to show up, why call everyone here in the first place? Odd.

Soon enough, Makoto had completed his registration with Aki and had retrieved a set of Sports Balls like the others. Then he was off to the park to find out what would happen next. He was told the event would start in a few minutes, so there wasn't too much to wait for, unless if there was some unexpected delay.

He looked at Kotone, who looked like she was well distracted by talking to another girl. At this rate, Kotone might miss out on registering for the event! She would be late, no doubt, let alone miss the event. Makoto could have dragged Kotone away, but he decided not to, as he didn't care too much for the event to begin with. He imagined Kotone might panic once she knew the deadline was close.

The park staff told Pepe that the registration was still open, but he needed to hurry lest he would miss the contest entirely. So here he was, registering himself under the name Pepe Sylvan along with his Incineroar, Gaoh, right after the previous trainer registered themself (I'll leave who this "previous trainer" is up to imagination unless someone wanna fill in the spot).

Twenty Sports Balls later, Pepe and Gaoh found themselves at the contest venue with a lot of other contestants.
