    "Ow..." the girl playing Yuka feigned pain as she got up. "Kinta-san, I think Hina cheated!"

    "How?" the boy playing Kintaro asked.

    "I didn't see any evidence Hina cheated, Yuka..." Miyune replied.

    Huh? Meru thought as both herself and Hina upon hearing the "cheating" part. She tilted her head while still panting from the fight earlier because that's the only way she could express it without breaking the script.

    (Also, question: is that supposed to be Meru's only line in this act? Or does she have to do some ad-libbing in some more parts? I'm totally blind and not sure what to do when it comes to the script tho. :sweat:)

    After a moment of catching her breath, Meru (as Hina) let out a sigh as Hina's way of non-verbally saying "Okay, fine," while pretending to try not to roll her eyes. This is because Meru originally interpreted the Scorbunny's reaction to this particular scene as, well, rolling her eyes.

    (Before I forget, who's scripted to win in the second round: Hina or Yuka?)

    Again, the second battle went on flawlessly. The footworks, the music, the rhythm, everything were synched in such epic manner. And as scripted, Meru (as Hina) won again.

    “This is no ordinary child." the actor playing the noble mused as Meru accepted the prop onigiri. "Whose son can he be? I will find out before this day is done.”

    The lights went down as the vina signaled the end of the scene. "As the party started for home, the noble hurried after them. " Kotona narrated as she played. "Kintaro knew nothing of all this, and was unaware that he was being followed. Once he and his companions parted for the night, Kintaro returned to his mother, who was waiting for him..."

    "Whew..." Meru sighed in relief. It was only the beginning and she already had a blast. Her managing to still standing after such epic battles was quite amazing in itself, considering that she nearly fainted after the first full rehearsal of this scene.

    “Okaeri.” the woman smiled. "What took so long?”

    “We spent the day in the hills, and we had a martial arts contest." the boy playing Kintaro smiled. "It was so much fun, we plan to do it again tomorrow.”

    Just then, a voice called from offstage “Will you allow a guest to come with you? I want to see the contest too!”
