Anywho, I googled about Anna and now can imagine what Aine's cloak might look like. And my point still stands: Blacky's cloak is shorter than everyone else's.

So what I gather is that Atelier has the longest cloak among the party and that Xuehua is slightly shorter sleeved.

Can we just chalk it up to the tailor from Xuehua's Eevee days and the one running the store right now being different people? As in the old tailor had already gone (maybe passed away or moved somewhere else or whatever) and their shop is now run by the young Altaria our gang's currently meeting?

 

That's not a bad explanation. I wonder if Xuehua might even feel nostalgic.

Yep. I was trying to think of a funny metaphor with a Pokémon and considered some birds at first, then remembered that Dragapult yeets its babies and I couldn't NOT write that.

 

I had the image that missiles were shooting over Xuehua's head from a rocket launcher. She is a dramatic one, isn't she? And slightly clueless?

 

And then Dreepy be like "WEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!"

And then Blacky or Atelier running over with a fire extinguisher and Aine casting a water song or something to take out the flames as Xuehua just stands there as an agent of chaos justice

Actually, I'd imagine Atelier using his water tome along with Aine's water casting, thus leaving the fire extinguisher with Blacky. Or failing that, Blacky might want to take a bucket with him to and from a nearby river (if there's any, that is) to help with extinguishing the fire.

(if you ask about their outfits, Blacky and Aine's were kinda made up on the spot ft. the yellow scarf Blacky wears and Aine's outfit is a combo of Kiwi (The Bard) from Wandersong and Maria from The Sound of Music. Atelier was mentioned to be a Robin reference so I gave his cloak Robin's patterns)

 

Ayoooo another Wandersong fan? It's a supremely underrated masterpiece of a game, and I know it's a masterpiece because they officially revealed on its one-year anniversary that dabbing makes you go 6.9% faster.
I'm not entirely sure where it was officially confirmed - all I can find is a tweet from 2018, but yeah, their official name is Kiwi! The same studio made Chicory: A Colorful Tale, and that game had an easter egg character who was just the Bard adapted to fit the new game universe, and their name was Kiwi in Chicory, so suppose there's also that.
And just so this isn't too off-topic, the specific part I adapted was their little capelet. It's a bit hard to see but Aine has a similar capelet around her shoulders, just underneath the ribbon. Thanks for the compliment haha!
