I could have sworn we had a thread about this already, but I couldn't find it, so. Any spectacular finds that you just couldn't catch? Did you lob Pokéball after Pokéball until you were all out? Did you not realize that junky Weedle was a shiny? Or were you just on your way to get more Pokeballs right after you checked this one thread? I'm saving up my Pokepoints for a Master Ball (yes, I spend them that quickly), and I had just used my last ball on an Alolan Sandshrew (which I don't regret at all, honestly). And I was wandering LV for a bit when . . . COME FREAKING ON.
I already made a thread like this just fyi... One Pokémon here that managed to get away from me was a Kabuto. Literally wasted all my Ultra Balls on it, and still got away...
Did you? Could you link me to it? As I said, I could have sworn I saw a thread like this before. Oo, that's no fun. I'm sorry. I hope you get another chance at that Kabuto!
Rhyhorn, Kabuto, (insert other uncommons/rares I'm missing) It may just be that I have trouble getting PP, but I'm always wasting all my Poke-Great balls for no reason as they don't catch. I'm now saving up Ultras for Mewtwo so I have to ignore them for now..
So far Chansey has been the only Pokémon I've ran out of Pokeballs for. However, I missed Porygon and realized it was there a split second after I switched pages. Luckily I ended up getting both in the end.
Wasted my only Masterball on a Bulbasaur (that escaped). I swear I'm gonna get a shiny in, like, the next two refreshes.
Chansey... granted I didn't have a lot of balls left, but still... have enough trouble running into the bloody thing in RBY's Safari Zone to begin with.
I found a kabuto, but I accidentally closed the tab before I could catch it.... I haven't found one since.
I threw a bunch of Pokeballs at an Aerodactyl just for it to escape... Maybe I should've spent my PP on a Great Ball instead.
I ran out of pokeballs once and the only thing that kept appearing was legendary eggs... I like eggs.
