What has been your hardest catch?

Ironically, I’ve had good luck with all my legendaries. As far as I remember each were caught in just 3 or 4 Ultra Balls- Regirock is different though, all the times I tried to catch it, it refused to get caught.

That aside, I think either Chansey or Shelgon was my hardest catch... each took about 9 or 10 Ultra Balls.

i haven't bothered with legendaries because i know I'll never be able to catch one lol

 

Latios, 22 regular poke balls.

 

I don't remember what it was, but I remember one of my Pokémon taking like 50 regular pokeballs. Regirock maybe?

 

Entei was a little turd that ate up 5 Ultra Balls, 4 Great Balls, and 5 Pokeballs iirc.

 

Okay scratch that, Regirock just blew through my entire Pokéball supply. 11 Normals, 4 Greats, and 4 Ultras down the drain. What is life.

 

Entei to date. I think I burned through all of my Ultra balls and Great balls trying to catch it. @_@

Also Raikou, although it's probably more telling that I'm not successful in catching it yet even though it burned through 15 or so of my Great Balls.

 

Stupid freaking Regirock has wasted like, 200 PP worth of Pokeballs in total. I've given up trying to catch it. it's only a single type anyways and I want double types to kick butt on Valor battle :U

 

^ Speaking of Regis, Regice just ate like all 30 of my Pokeballs. :v

Might as well skip out on it for now and save my Pokeballs for another legendary and get back to Regice later.

 

Suicune cause it took me three tries of 40 pokeballs for him to finally get into one

 

Mine was probably the Mew from that April Fools event. The first time I tried it ate every last one of my Pokeballs. I ended up saving up all of my Pokepoints until the day before the event ended, then bought as many Ultra Balls as I could. I don't remember exactly how many it took, but I only had one or two left by the time I caught it. To this day, it's the only legendary I've successfully captured.

 

Okay, not nearly as hard as a Regi, but I did not expect that darn Lickitung I just got to eat through the Ultra Ball reserves meant for Cresselia. UGGGGGGGH. Well, at least I'm getting my WTW PP soon.

 

Definitely Regice. I encountered it 4 times, using 10 Pokéballs each time. I still don't have one yet. In contrast, I caught Registeel the first time I encountered it.

 

The MissingNo I just caught ate all 52 of my Pokeballs and actually forced me to use my Master Ball so I'd say it's up there as far as one of my hardest catches next to Raikou. =s

 

I just remembered one detail about Suicune after those tries of 40 pokeballs, I had to use a master ball on it.

 

Probably a shaymin. I have good luck with catching legends in one or two pokeballs

 

The Ditto I caught last night took 10 Pokeballs, 8 Greats, and 7 Ultras. All for a blob. =_=

 

Well mine was a Deerling Summer form it took like seven of my Pokéballs to catch it.
