What the title says. I like green bean casserole. Sweet potatoes are good too if they have nuts in them.
Ohh! Green bean casserole's the best during Thanksgiving, but I also like ham and the sweet 'tatoes that are made during it as well. It's just a buffet of great food.
Green bean casserole is awesome. With the French fried onions on top? Hell yeah I'm also all for garlic mashed potatoes. Can't go wrong with those.
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who likes green bean casserole. I don't think I've ever had garlic mashed potatoes before, but that sounds great.
Mashed potatoes, corn, green beans (not casserole, sorry!), ham, butter rolls, cranberry sauce (there was none today :c), and pumpkin pie (I stupidly opted for chocolate pie today)
Geez, ate all of that food and I'm already hungry again. Pumpkin pie is great. I have another slice but I'm saving it for tomorrow.
Ooooh! One of my in-laws makes that, it's really good. I didn't realize anyone else did that. I didn't have any this year.
Yams since my mom makes them specially for me since I'm eating less meat and more vegetables. If we can't have yams it's usually sweet potatoes and a turnip for me.
I couldn't either; went out to Golden Corral for dinner, and both times I went up theirs (though I think it was sweet potato rather than yam) was out and hadn't been refilled.
It's hard to find stuffing that's actually good. There are so many different varieties. But when it is good, it's great!
I must be lucky then! All the stuffing varieties I've had have been delicious. But you're absolutely right!
I love Apple Pie. I know Pumpkin is more classic for Thanksgiving, but I just love Apple a lot more. Cranberry Sauce is great, but has a slight bitter aftertaste that I don’t like, so I usually only have one piece.
I really love rolls...and I just realized that I'm not all too fond of Thanksgiving dinner. I like potatoes okay, but not most of all the other stuff. Turkey is just kind of meh for me, I definitely prefer ham, but even then I mostly just have it in a sandwich with my roll.. I don't like cranberry sauce. I don't like any casseroles or stuffing. I don't even like pie.
Spinach artichoke dip. Super family traditional food, but it’s like five kinds of cheese and the vegetables and garlic and it’s so good right out of the oven and crispy on the edges, on top of chips. Mmmm.
I've... never really tried Thanksgiving food. But I really want to know what pumpkin pie/sweet potato pie is like. It looks pretty interesting. Something that I must have already tasted? Uh... asparagus? I don't know? My family almost never celebrates Thanksgiving and the last thing I remember is eating cold turkey in December with my brother. (It tastes a lot better than it sounds. Still one of my favourite pastimes...)
Uh... Baked potato? We don't celebrate Thanksgiving here, but I remember eating Thanksgiving food in the past. I don't exactly remember what there was to eat, but I know for a fact that baked potatoes taste good.
I love stuffing, its the only time my family makes it. I also finally tried gravy for the first time, and while my family's wasn't as good, the gravy my work made was dope
Apple pie is the way to go! Oh, and every year I make biscuits for my family. I think making them is my favorite aspect of Thanksgiving, and then afterwards we melt butter on them. I like to dip mine in gravy or cranberry sauce!
