So this title is self-explanatory. Ever since Brawl, Super Smash Bros has had one of the greatest video game soundtracks ever. So many memorable and well-known tunes from all across Nintendo's history as a game company, plus a selection of music from other series not owned by Nintendo. Both classic tracks and new remixes are welcome to this, at with Ultimate having over 800 tracks, I decided to bring other Smash music fans together and give some of their wishes for music in the game. Please specify whether or not you want a new remix or just the original song, and what game it's from. So here's my list to start things off. Mr. Saturn Theme Z Mother 3 (new remix as it's a GBA game. I'd also be fine EarthBound's Saturn Valley theme instead) Volcano! Inferno! Mother 3 (new remix as this is the same GBA game as above) Porky's Porkies Mother 3 (Again, GBA game, so yes new remix. This is already a bit of a mash-up of other tracks from the game.) 16 Melodies Mother 3 (still a GBA game so new remix again pls) In the Final Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story (This track was already in Smash Wii U albiet called The Grand Finale, but that was just the original DS track. I want a new remix of it) Adventure's End Mario & Luigi: Dream Team (the original track is fine) Main Theme Fire Emblem Awakening (I'd be fine with just the original track. I also don't know if this is the actual name of the track. I'm talking about the music in Awakening's intro) I know there's a lot of Mother 3 tracks that's because I was listening to the Mother 3 soundtrack as I made this.
I want some more music from Genealogy and the GBA Fire Emblem games (but I don't think it'll happen, aside possibly from a Sacred Stones theme, maybe "Truth, Hope, and Despair"); will probably instead get more music from Fateswakening... :\
I want them to include Masked Dedede or Moonstruck Blossom (both Kirby Triple Deluxe) because I think they’re the best tracks in the whole series. They’re both bops. They could be either the original or a remix.
My most memorable moment with the music is probably when DKwill and LarryLurr has DK Dittos on the omega donkey Kong stage and specifically put the DK rap as the background music in an actual competitive tournament. I love brawl’s opening theme (way to epic for its own good) and Ultimate’s theme is great too.
I'd like more Splatoon music, but something completely obscure like Blitz It! by the Chirpy Chips. It was too late in development, though, so we probably won't get it. Mario and Luigi: Never Let Up (the boss theme) would be pretty cool. This one's probably a crazy request, but maybe the Song of Supplication from Star Allies? I'm weird, I know.
Mega Man as a series tends to have some great music, so anything they want to include either as originals or as remasters I would be all over. Even though X and Zero aren't non-Mii characters yet, it would also be great if they included music from those series as well, and probably extending even into Battle Network and ZX which I'm less familiar with. Just bring the whole Mega Man musical family into this museum of Nintendo history! For some specifics: I love Flame Stag's music from MMX2, and have not found a single remix/remaster for it that I love; so if Nintendo's musical arrangers did something there, that would be appreciated. The X versus Zero music from X5 would also be great, and maybe even Falling Down from Zero4.
