@LassusVulpes @ChocoChicken Sighing in doubt, Daigo nodded at Maya's remark. But then something dawned in his mind. "Wait a minute..." he turned to the dwarf girl. "Maya, were you, by chance, a human back home? Or maybe... something else?" By "back home", he meant Maya's home world, wherever it could be.
Angela crossed her arms "Course this place is real, just . . . odd." She turned to Iva. "I guess we should be on our way , as they seem to be in their own conversation." Iva nods and follows. Angela walked to the lake, crossed some trees and pushed some bushes aside, at the foot of the lake there was a statue , small drops of water ripple the water . Her and Iva walk over to the Statue and Angela goes to her Knees. "Let's see if this has been raided or not . .. " She grabs a small little nick that looked out of place on the statue and turned it. After a few seconds the sound of stone grinding on stone ruptured out of the statue. A small compartment opens up . Angela stands and reaches into the compartment, she grabs something and pulls it out. A small stone box was pulled out. She punches the lock and shakes her hand. A faint -3 floats in the air and vanishes. She sighed and opens the once locked box. Inside were 8 small looking droids. She picked one up and handed it to Iva. And grabbed one for herself. "This will be your friend, this is called a GABN . or Give a better name. The people who named it weren't very creative but . . . Ah well, you get to name it. GABN's are very useful, as they can display enemy stats by scanning them." Angela seemed to know what she was talking about. Iva looked at the small droid that was handed to her, three propellers and a bent propeller, a wooden body, with a cracked lens at the front. It looked like it had gone through some rough times. "Anything else?" Iva asked. "well uhhhh. Not necessarily right now, No. But later you can make it so that you can go into the lens and shoot out kind of like a cannon, but that'll take more energy then these can handle . . ." Iva sighed, and found a small switch. A small light next to the lens turns on and the propellers start to turn on, it wasn't very stable and moved around but kept behind Iva. "Not the most quiet thing there is . .." Iva joked.
"So, uh... can we tag along for now?" Maya spoke up from behind the girls. Those two had thankfully not attacked Daigo in the end, but they hadn't exactly accepted an alliance either. She kept a hand on her axe just in case.

Shrugging at his ignored question, Daigo quietly followed the girls (two humans, one dwarf) to the statue near the lake where he had spawned earlier. He simply watched everything enfolded there while the human girls did their thing. I mean, as much as Daigo wanted to ask if he and Maya could tag along, seems like she had already beaten him to it.
"Oh , sorry I thought you two were talking together. Sorry." Angela rubs the back of her head. "Sure. But if any of you try anything funny. I'll personally drop your head to the gate of Infernum. " She reached into the box and took out two more of the drones and placed them on the ground for Daigo and Maya. Iva looked at the drone , as it swayed in the air. "I guess I should tell you how to use it, huh? Since we're all here now." Angela glanced at her hands, her fingers were unharmed and no mark was made. "Once you have a GABN in your possession, upon raising your left arm a menu will appear." Iva raised her left arm as if it was in a cast, from her wrist down to halfway down her forearm a long clear blue screen forms from thin air. Bubbles form in the screen and little icons form . "That is your home screen. It will display the applications of the GABN. Ranging from stats, to inventory Spoiler: Apps Stats- Tells your characters stats to well. . . your character. Inventory - Shows your character their inventory. Equipment - Self explanatory. Manage your equipment here. Skills- Shows GABNS skills (Locked) Map - Shows a map of the area (Locked) The rest of the screen was to blurred out to read . As if the one writing had no idea on what to write. Iva saw that only three of the bubbles worked. So she chekced her inventory really quick , "Only some dingo fur." she mutters. "If you raise your right hand out, you'll have a new hud appear ." Angela calls out. Iva lowers her left arm and raises her right out in front of her. From the back of her hand a blue screen forms in the air. A screen that looked like an ID formed. It showed her face, name, age, and height. But had some bars on it. A red, yellow, and blue bar. "The red bar is your health, the yellow bar is your energy, and the blue bar is your exp. Do you have any questions?" Angela asked .
"Yeah, uh... does it do that every time we raise a hand? Or does it somehow sense if we need it? Don't want to activate them in everyday activities." Maya raised her left hand, tapping the part that mentioned her stats.
Picking up one of the drones, Daigo couldn't help but to wonder what this thing would do. Before he could ask though, the archer girl went on to explain how to use this, uh, GABN thing. The reptilian guy raised his right arm first only to find his ID "card" (well, not really) shown there. The photo shown there was of his reptilian form, not his (former) human form. Just when in the world did it take my photo anyway? Moving on, Daigo raised his left arm this time. "Stats, inventory, equipments, skills, map..." he muttered. His twin blades were shown in the equipments part as separate weapons -- two (near-)identical swords with better crit chance on the right-hand one. But there's one thing that was bothering him for this one: "Why is the map locked? I mean, how do we unlock it?"
"To answer the dwarfs question first, no. It does not always appear each time you raise your hand. Only when your arm and face connect. Think of it like this, when you look at your arm, and your arm is in a bent position like a cast it will form. So it may appear when you're carrying stuff and looking at your arm. " Angela remarked out loud. "How long have you talked today Angela? How much air do you even have in your lungs ?!" Iva questioned out loud . Angela shrugs and continues . "To answer the . . Lizard. The map is locked as these drones do not know much about this area right now. As you walk around, the drone will scan and eventually it will unlock the map and have info. This will take some time." Angela stretches a bit. "anywho, we need to get going. We don't want to get caught out at night, dangerous foes and lurkers of the dark will attack if we don't." Iva nods and looks at the drone one last time before walking out of the lake.
"Well, in that case, I'm more than happy to come along." Maya lowered her arm and continued after the girls, axe on one shoulder and GABN perched on her other hand.
Looking at the girls once again, Daigo shrugged. "Sure, why not? We're both new here, after all," he agreed to come along. That being said, the lizard lowered his arm and waited for the girls to go ahead.
"Three of us are new here than . ." Iva mutters, she pushes a branch aside to only get thwapped right back. "ow." she muttered . As they continued, Iva and Angela heard rustling up ahead. Angela readied her bow , Iva readied her Dagger. Angela rose her arm out to tell Daigo and Maya to stop moving. Angela calls out "Then what the hell am I to do??" Iva calls back. "Look around!" Angela yells
Angela's yell quickly alerted Maya to action. With a yelp of her own, she panickedly took a heavy step forwards and thrust a hand out at Wolf E, suddenly causing a chunk of ground to rise up and then fly pointed end-first at the beast in front of her. (Uproot and Silence were starting spells for all Mages, but I don't think we have stats for them yet? I'm assuming you have them.)
Dang. Wolves' ambush. Daigo drew out his twin blades, watching what the girls just did. Gotta start with... YOU!!! Daigo immediately rushed at wolf A and swung his twin blades at it.
Maya hits the wolf right in the face but the wolf shakes it off and a faint grayed out -1 appears in the air . As Daigo charges in and strikes the wolf on his first strike he dealt 2 damage making a gray -2 form in the air , but on his second he dealt 12 damage making a large orange text with -12 form . The wolf falls and much like the other only its bones are left . As the party struck, the wolves also struck. Wolf C charges at Angela and bites her . A large orange text appears in the air dealing 10 damage (86 rolled on crit) . She jumped back and looked at her arm, and blood starts to drip. She looked at her left arm and saw a drawn blood drop floating in the arm. - Inflicted by Bleeding- Bleeding - Each turn until healed or patched up, deals 1% of health per turn. Wolf D Bites at Iva and scratches her, dealing 4 damage (6 roll on crit). She waves it off and jumps back as well . Unfortunately for wolf E, Daigo managed to avoid its attack in time. He then saw Iva and Angela ganging up on that wolf. Eh, why not? Daigo decided to join in the bandwagon anyway. He swung both of his blades again, this time at wolf E.
Seeing Angela bleeding, Maya snapped to attention. Wasn't there something she saw on her... "Stats" page mentioning a way to heal her? She rushed over to Angela, and after a moment of hesitation, placed her hand above the wound, causing a pale green glow to shine from the point of contact. (She cast Cure I to slow Bleeding)
Daigo's daggers strike the fur of the wolf E, at first dealing only 1 damage , but on his second strike deals 11 damage . The wolf cripples down and falls . Maya uses cure I on Angela, reducing the time on the bleed (Now one turn left) Wolf C let out a howl of terror, making all the wolves have +2 damage for three turns. The wolves furs raise in the air making them look larger and more intimidating . Iva nods and makes another bola "We need to use the Lizards damage to break them down, nothing else we have that can harm it.." She throws it at Wolf D (54), The wolf catches the bola and crushes it in its fierce jaws. "Looks like we're not getting any damage right now." @LassusVulpes @ChocoChicken Cripes... Seems like Daigo couldn't avoid wolf D's attack in time. He didn't really hear the archer girl's explanation (or whatever that was) as his mind was too focused on getting back at the wolf who got him earlier. Daigo quickly swung his twin blades at wolf D, all while hoping that he could take it down as swift as the others.
Welp. Sorry, axe, but I think I'm outta options here! Maya turned to the other wolf (C) and dashed at it with her weapon ready, giving the beast a hardy if badly-aimed swing.

A large scaled body flew over head, tinted red with an orange belly. She quickly got to her elbows and looked at the creature that flew over her head. A large six winged dragon, the membrane of the wings a deep black, long and curved white horns on its head. She looked back at where the wolves once stood, and saw a large 75414 in yellow text followed with a 226242 next to it where the wolves once stood. "Is everyone okay?!" Angela calls out. "I'm good." Opening it, inside was 18 Wolf pelt, 7 fangs, 2 vials of blood, and a light show of xp. The xp flies to everyone and a ding rings from Angela. "Oh! I leveled up~" She chimed "I'll show you leveling real quick" She rose her left arm when her GABN was show. A new menu had appeared, an orange box with a plus on it. Upon pressing it, a screen appears. ~()~ LEVEL UP! Level 7 ~()~ All health and energy replenished +6 HP +1 Ability point +1 Agility point +1 Reputation point ~()~ *Leveling up* Once a total of battles is reached, you'll level up. I have a counter that i'll keep hidden to determine when the next level up will happen. So you can't bait out when it happens, the reason for the XP is to have a visual to show that a fight has been won. These are what happens with a level up + 1-10 in HP +1 Ability point (every other level up if any other class besides Bard, Necromancer, Mage, Pyro) +1 Agility point (every other level up if any other class besides Ranger, Warrior, Tank, Bard) (yes bard is said twice, debuff and buff) +1 Reputation point The HP is obvious. Ability points will grant you spells, that have an energy cost, the totals for the spells is in the campfire, I can repost it later if you need. These are mostly for combat purposes to deal damage, and debuff your foes. Agility points work the same, but they're more for defensive purposes. These are also for your buffs! (heals not included) . The reason they're for the ranger and the such, is they can be used to have a faster attack speed for more than one attack in one turn And Reputation. Reputation is an invisible counter that slowly will tick up as you get kills. But it always goes up one each level up. This also goes up for doing quests for a person. If you have a high reputation, you'll get more rewards and gold from townsfolk, have a low reputation, and you'll be hated , gaining less gold and resources from quests. The way you lose reputation is by abandoning quests, dropping weapons and armor around to take weight off your shoulders, letting monsters freely attack the city and you just watching. You start off at a base of 0, and as time goes on , your bar moves. play safe. (Ghouls and Pyromancers start at -5) -*-
