I've decided that I need practice drawing in order to prepare myself for a pair of upcoming art projects. To this end, I'm taking requests one at time. Rules: No NSFW content. I will absolutely refuse to do it. I'm okay with a little blood, but other than that, not so much. I also refuse to make anything I'm not comfortable with. A lot of this falls under the above, but some of it does not. What I can draw: Characters- Alot of my drawings fall under this category. I should mention that I have no experience in drawing female characters. I've not done a lot of different poses though. Dragons- I'm pretty well versed in this, I think. Pokémon/Fakemon- I have a lot of trouble drawing existing things, as proven by when I had to draw a fusion of Stingmon and Mail Birdramon from Digimon. Things that will take me a while: Backgrounds: I've never done this before. A Comic: I've never drawn one of these either, but I have wanted draw one before, so I'm down to try it. If I think something might be harder than what I'm ready for, I might save it for later. And now, here are some examples. Spoiler: Past drawings
I would like to get a visual done for one of my Meroi fakemon. Desc.: A Water/Fire Fire bellied toad Pokémon. Bit of a lava lamp theme where their bellies would glow brightly and darker blotches would shift under their skin. Feel free to get weird with it as I would like it to stand out from all the other amphibian Pokémon out there. Inspiration: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKDtEh0zkQQ
Can I have a gijinka of shiny Umbreon (male) wearing a yellow scarf (uh, bandana?) on his neck and holding this sword in a battle stance, please? Spoiler: His sword If a gijinka is too much, maybe just a shiny Umbreon but bipedal and with the scarf and sword described above? Here's shiny Umbreon in case you forgot: And since you said that you're taking requests one at a time, mine can wait. Feel free to go ahead and do Jey's first.
This one seems tricky. I'm going to need to plan out how to go about this, but it sounds doable. I'll take a crack at it and get back to you.
Now that I've thought about this one, did you have something particular in mind for how you wanted the gijinka to look, or should I just try my idea when I get to this?
Nah, I don't have enough braincells to think about the details. Just use your imagination for this one.
Well then, I guess it's time to go ham. May as well share this quick sprite edit so you can have an idea of what I'm wanting to go for, though I might have to try either a slightly different angle or change how I have him hold the sword.
I would kinda like to see a dragon inspired by Croagunk...bit of a random request, I know. It just kinda popped into my head.
@Jeydis Your lava lamp toad is done. Let me know when it has a name. EDIT: I'll have to fix those white spots that are outside the outline. @Gazi I already have an idea of what to do, so I'll start on yours after my 9 braincells recover.
If you're up for drawing a girl, how about drawing a 13 y.o. version of this kid? Spoiler: 10 y.o. kid Same hairstyle, though I'll leave her outfit (preferably a modern one) up to your imagination.
@Gazi I'm going to have to put yours on hold for now as I'll likely have to start over regardless of how I take that Croagunk dragon. @SAF I'll take a crack it tomorrow.
@SAF What do you think? I tried using a tutorial for drawing Dawn as a guide to help me get his done. I kept the wardrobe mostly the same to help her stay recognizable. She also reminds me slightly of Daisy.
