(I suppose she could stock up on arrows, and definitely as much water as she can for her voice if she's planning on using any singing magic. Not so much if she's only using her lyre.)
@SAF @122 Generation @ChocoChicken (One of Aine's spells is to create water, so that should help. Stopping at the smithy wouldn't be a bad idea.) "Here you are, Miss Aine." the smithy smiled as he delivered a quiver full of water enchanted arrows. "These should protect you against any fire monsters down there." (Aine received 50 Undine Arrows!)
Seeing that there was time, Atelier had no sooner arrived at the mage guild for fireproofing. He greeted the Espeon at the library on the way as he inquired about where to find someone to safeguard his books and bag. There was no way he was allowing them to be incinerated.
@122 Generation "Which books do you need fireproofed?" the Espeon asked. "One spell can fireproof the whole library if you wanted."
"Preferably all of my books," Atelier replied. "If one spell can fireproof the whole library, I'll only need a fraction of that." He brought out his bag and placed his books before the Espeon.
@122 Generation The Espeon chanted a few mystical words, making the books gain a cold aura. "There...now your books are heatproof. Best of all, this enchantment never wears off."
Atelier bowed politely. "Thanks very much. Now to what do I owe the pleasure?" He wondered if he needed to pay anything, or at least do some kind of favour.
@122 Generation "There is no payment for enchantment." the Espeon replied. "But a donation to the guild is always appreciated."
"Very well," Atelier replied. "I don't have anything on me to donate, so take these coins. They should help you out." He placed a set of 1000, as a token of appreciation. Balance: 24,550C Inventory: ?x Books and Novels, 1x Journal, 1x Strategy Book, 1x Fire Tome, 1x Ice Tome, 1x Water Tome (SotS), Ethereal Grimoire, 1x Steel Short Sword, 10x Geo Pebbles, 22x Gravelerocks, 2x Aloe Vera Equipped: None
"Shall we get going soon?" The group seemed nearly finished with all their preparations, and Xuehua herself was quite ready to get what would likely be one of the harder Dragon Kings out of the picture as soon as possible.
(Aye) Now that Atelier had finished with his preparations, he left the mage guild to rejoin his companions. He only needed to wait for Aine to say the word to begin the campaign.
Meanwhile at the shrine, Blacky was having a second thought. He did say that he didn't wanna over-grill his berries, but it didn't occur to him that the berries' effects are even better when cooked anyway. And what better way of cooking berries than getting them close to the natural source of heat? He decided to pray for everyone's safety instead. (Sorry for the delay. I'm ready when you are.)
