(Aight, back to Blacky's POV now.) Several hours after the group's arrival at the inn (or so he thought), Blacky finally woke up in his bed. He immediately noticed a note (or maybe letter?) laid down on his belly. The message itself turned out to be Garma briefly explaining Angus' whereabouts and thanking Blacky for the fun despite their rather awkward first meeting. Blacky only could chuckle upon reading it.
Atelier felt the odd presence temporarily as he read his novel. It was enough that he put his novel down to look at his surroundings. But when he didn’t see anything odd, he went back to his food and book. (That is, Garma)
@122 Generation Garma sighed as Atelier returned to his book. Way to blow my cover...I was just dropping in to say sorry for scaring the townsfolk.
"Oh, milady!" Blacky perked up upon hearing Aine's voice. "I- uh..." he was about to ask where he was only to be answered by this sentence written in Garma's letter: "If you're reading this, you should be in your bedroom by now. I hope." Instead, Blacky ended up asking his fellow shiny Eeveelution, "How long did I pass out?"
(Confusion ensued, both in-character and out. I did say this in a previous post: but had to add "(or so he thought)" to match what Aine just said. Oh well, whatever.) "Dang," Blacky gave Aine a rather befuddled look. "Just what in the world did I miss anyway?"
@SAF (Oops, my fault!) Aine's feelers drooped. "I'm just as confused as you are. But let me try to explain from the beginning..."
"Uh... Okaaay?" Blacky tilted his head. Just what in the world was Aine going to explain anyway? (It's a narrative question btw. An IC answer is preferable.)
(Lemme list some: The festival in general -- is it still happening? Garma's whereabouts -- have anyone seen him after the battle? Were there any other eventful things that happened while Blacky was passing out?)
@SAF "The festival--now in its second day--was declared open as soon as word of our victory spread..." Aine explained. "All feuds and animosity are to be set aside for two weeks. Garma was looking for you--said he wanted to talk to you."
Atelier had gotten through a handful of pages in his novel until he finished his meal. He still felt the odd presence in the area and wondered what was going on. Then, still tired out, he retreated to his room and went to sleep. (A reminder that it's still evening)
(Uh... really? I doubt it even happened at the same day...) "Eh? Really?" Blacky perked up again. "Where is he now?" he hastily stood up only for him to stumble a little bit.
(Perhaps there was a time skip we didn't accommodate for. Either way, go ahead, Wave. And finish the conversation between Aine and Blacky first)
@122 Generation "I do recall Garma left you a letter." Aine went on as she gave Blacky the letter. "What it says, I do not know. He may have detailed his whereabouts in this letter."
Another one? Blacky thought upon receiving the letter from Aine. Since Garma's first letter was already with him, curiosity ensued on Blacky's part about the second one. He soon opened it.
@SAF Dear Blacky, this letter is mainly to tell the townsfolk I'm sorry for all the trouble I caused them. the letter began. I'm hoping that once the festivities are over, I can join this adventurin' gig
