Is this still open? Cool. Don't mind if I do! Spoiler: My Character Name: Kelvane Species: Flareon Class: War Mage Inventory: A bag containing various offensively oriented spellbooks and combat manuals, along with other basic supplies, and a custom-made knife slung across his back, with the handle right in bite range. Personality/Backstory: Kelvane is the oldest descendent in a long line of famous warriors and wizards, on his father's and mother's sides respectively. With such a prideful heritage, Kelvane should have been destined for greatness in both fields. However, despite the fact that he does, in fact, perform well in both close-quarters combat and magic, Kelvane is a rather timid creature with a severe allergy plaguing him at all hours of the day, causing his eyes to water constantly and breaking into sneezing fits frequently. His parents attempted to help him overcome both his own timidity and the constant allergy attacks by having him evolve into a Flareon at a young age, but this only worsened his problems, due to obvious fire-breathing shenanigans and the embarrassment that tended to follow. With Kelvane's personal issues, along with attempting to raise their two other children and the overall problems affecting them from the world at large, they weren't exactly sure what to do. That's when Kelvane's mother heard about Aine, and her plan to slay the oppressing Dragon Kings which had given their family plenty of grief in the past. Eager to participate in this noble cause, Kelvane was sent to join the forming party of Eeveelutions, being the most able-bodied Pokémon in all of his family, and they hoped that this journey will help their son to grow into a better, stronger individual.
Spoiler: Atelier Name: Atelier Species: Eevee Class: Tactician Inventory: A bag holding some of Atelier's favourite books, a journal, some tomes, Geo Pebbles, and a book of battle strategies Personality: Atelier has a normally quiet demeanor at first glance, as he spends much of his downtime reading history books and novels, and has a natural talent for analysing his opponents and developing strategies to outmaneuver them (which comes in handy when playing games) while also looking after his friends' wellbeing. He can become easily enthusiastic if he engages in a topic of his interest, particularly if it relates to books he has been reading, and can lose track of time. Apart from that, he is easy to be social with and has some tolerance for annoyance (but it does have limits). He also knows how to cook, though his creations are sometimes unconventional. Spoiler: Atelier's books Fire Tome (Ember, Will-O-Wisp, Fire Spin) Ice Tome (Ice Shard, Powder Snow, Mist) Water Tome (Secrets of the Sea) (Bubblebeam, Water Pulse, Aqua Jet) Ethereal Grimoire (Magical Leaf, Fire Fang, Shock Wave, Draining Kiss)
Yay, more boys~ Also, question for @122 Generation and @Laserdragon14: since both Atelier and Starlight are Eevee at the moment, do they have anything to tell themselves apart? Or are Eevee's gender differences enough?
I completely missed the part when eevee had gender differences, tbh. Maybe I can change it to where my character wears the gems that she carries as a necklace or something?
@Laserdragon14 @sanianisa @ChocoChicken @RadEmpoleon @122 Generation @Kecleon352 Clothing and accessories appropriate to a fantasy universe are fine. (so no jeans or anything like that.)
@sanianisa Well! If gender differences aren't enough, Atelier does wear robes of a foreign pattern, and he always carries books around with him. Other than that, I got nothing. As for your earlier question, Wave, I might consider Atelier becoming a Jolteon, but that decision isn't final.
Edited my signup to give Xuehua's proper appearance. The cape is plain and solid all the way through.
What about armor? Maybe light plate armor could work, or gauntlets at the least. Technically boots if we're talking quadrupeds.
Since we're all Eeveelutions in this story, I'd say that we're quadrupeds. Not sure about Wave's intentions, though. Also, considering that Blacky isn't a full-fledged knight yet, I might as well edit my sign-up form to add something simple to his appearance.
@Laserdragon14 @sanianisa @ChocoChicken @RadEmpoleon @122 Generation @Kecleon352 The Ardamorian Crown Currency in Ardamore is the crown, a coin named for the crown design on the heads side. One gold crown is equal to one US dollar. Crowns are further subdivided into half crowns, quarter crowns, and pennies. Larger amounts of crowns are different colors, with the most valuable known being the diamond crown (which equals $10,000) So in order, the known types and colors of crowns are: Penny (one US penny) Quarter crown (25 cents) Half crown (50 cents) Gold Crown ($1.00--the standard) Silver Crown ($5.00) Platinum Crown ($10.00) Crystal Crown ($20.00) Ruby Crown ($50.00) Sapphire Crown ($100) Emerald Crown ($500) Topaz Crown ($1000) Pearl Crown ($5000) Diamond Crown ($10,000)
Now that there gonna be new locations in this RP-verse (e.g. the Glorious Wilds), where in this map will they be? Spoiler: Galar/Ardamore map
@sanianisa For one thing, the way to Point A to Point B is much longer in Ardamore, as it has no counterpart of the Wild Area. So even Postwick to Wedgehurst takes longer to get to. The Glorious Wilds are not far from Postwick--they are a more welcoming and bright forest.
