Back to this again. Fire Emblem Engage, Sunset Overdrive, Professor Layton, and doing some setup stuff in the background for future Lets Plays, though in terms of those, Super Monkey Ball 2 is going strong at present
Oh right, nearly forgot that I've been alternating between FFTA2 and Arcaea. In the latter's case, they recently released some new songs in a semi-paywalled pack (there's a time-limited chance to nab the songs there for free) and I don't wanna pay for the whole pack.
Uses max revive on topic Been playing Scarlet Nexus nonstop since I got it, I find myself really enjoying it even if some of the trash mob fights feels a little drawn out at times. Aside from that I'm having a great.
I just started a Fire emblem Stream block and I was streaming Xenoblade before My TV died. I'll get back to that eventually.
I just beat the very poor Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 with my family. I don't think I'll ever be going back. I'm pretty far into Final Fantasy XVI. I expect I may finish by the end of the week, as I still am missing a couple Eikon abilities. I've been making sure to do all the side quests, so the going is slow at times.
I'm currently still playing TOTK and can't decide if I am having a blast with it or if I am bored out of my mind. Maybe I shouldn't have picked up BOTW so close to its release... While I am not playing it yet, I've got my eyes on Rain Code currently. I can't tear myself away from that OST, though I guess that is just my immense Danganronpa bias kicking in haha
Besides Pokémon Scarlet I have been trying out Palia and Before We Leave. So far Palia has been a bit more fun then I thought it would be and Before We Leave kind of reminds me of the ANON games and 1602 AD.
Monster Hunter Stories 2, I just cleared the main story and about to enter post-game. I almost got my butt kicked into next week because I didn't upgrade my gear before going out to look for new monsters to add to my team.
Recently picked up Fire Emblem Awakening on my emulator. Call me a wimp if you want, but I'm playing on Casual-Normal difficulty because I'm more familiar with Final Fantasy than Fire Emblem.
I got an emulator recently and I downloaded some DS games from an old DS flashcart. Of course I got some Pokémon games from there, but I'm trying to play new games as well. I'm not good with playing series I'm unfamiliar with since I don't really know where to start. But I've downloaded a few games outside of my wheelhouse: LoZ Spirit Tracks and Phantom Hourglass and Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box. All of them seem pretty fun so far.
I’m getting back into Hades after taking a break from it for two years and even on God Mode the game is still kicking my butt. Now that I’ve tried all the weapons I think I’m going to stick with the spear since it’s the most fun to me. The game also looks so pretty on the Switch OLED screen. Also picked Story of Seasons Friends of Mineral Town back up. The graphics look straight out of a cheap mobile game and there’s a lot of repeating dialogue, but it runs well and is fun to play so I can’t complain.
I just wrapped up playing the magnificent Marvel's Midnight Suns. I'll be looking to start Final Fantasy VII Remake here later this evening. I may try to find a Switch game to get into too, though I have too many options at the moment.
1. Hades. Just when I thought the game was over it keeps going. This is one of my favorite games of all time now so I’m happy about that though. 2. Bastion. It holds up pretty well for an older indie game and you can see what was added in later games from the same studio. 3. Dave The Diver. After hearing so many good things about this game on this site’s server I’m glad I finally picked it up for a road trip. The gameplay loop is super addicting and the restaurant segments give me vivid flashbacks to being a busser at a restaurant. Thankfully customers don’t yell at you in this game. 4. Moonlighter. Now that I have some armor and a better weapon this game is much more enjoyable. The opening hours of this game are rough with how brutal it is. 5. Torchlight 2. This game is giving me my Cat Quest fix until the third game comes out in August. Shame the studio that made this game disbanded since it’s a ton of fun.
Guilty Gear Strive, Phantasy Star online 2 and Wuthering Waves. (Also Neb giving Torchlight the much needed love it deserves.)
Picked Owl Boy back up and started over since I never got far and forgot the story. It’s an indie game made by one person over the course of 11 years. The pixel art is some of the best I’ve ever seen in a game and flying around while solving light puzzles and fighting enemies is a lot of fun. I’m bummed this game kinda fell under the radar since there was clearly a lot of love put into the game.
