Hmm...

I've already done a very rough narration on it before, but that's with my lack of knowledge on the actual boss fight. Would be nice if you (or anyone, really) can rework it to fit the setting.

Meaning siphoning the Shadow DK's power into Xuehua's body and Xuehua resisting it? I can have a crack at it and go into fanfic mode. Oh, and I think Brynhildr might have some fun trying to push someone to the dark side amid the power-siphoning.

While looking up where Brynhildr's name came from, I found that a character with the same name exists in the game Fate/Grand Order

 

I imagined the siphoning process would be attempted on everyone present in the room, so the other three MCs (Aine, Atelier, and Blacky) would be targeted too. It should also go in line with the past heroes' fates in the Eternatus Parasite Fossil theory.

 

I'll have a general prompt for all four Eeveelutions after the scene. Well, three, since Xuehua will be waiting for the next post to react, but y'know.

122, it sounds like you want to do the siphoning attempt? Just to clarify.

 

Also, speaking of Brynhildr, would that someone be Blacky or Atelier? Just wondering since Blacky is still confiscating the book for now.

 

I'll have a crack at it. Not sure what it's supposed to envision, but I'll try.

For Brynhildr, it could be both of them.

 

Sorry for not answering this sooner, Wave. There's a plan for the Shadow DK's power-siphoning attempt to take place after this fight. Maybe Aine can try to resist it when the time comes?

And as for this part:

The three NPCs here are Josson, Lemy, and the Hisuian Typhlosion from Spikeford resistance respectively. Josson's part is still mine for backstory reasons, but y'all can play Lemy and/or the Typhlosion if you so desire.

So... thoughts on Shadowblight boss fight so far?

 

@WavePearl Hey, don't talk down on yourself like that. I can do narrative, but you're better when it comes to large-scale setting-building. The Steamington and Keelford environments and aesthetics are still quite memorable despite being very early arcs.

 

Dunno about @ChocoChicken and @122 Generation, but I'd imagine Aine's still tagging along as we're currently still at the escape scene. If you want her to notice the Void Shadows' presence (or rather, its lack thereof) in the corridors, be my guest.

Now that I'm rereading Xuehua's descriptions of the other three MCs and I'm planning to do Blacky's version at the start of the final lair, how would you guys describe your respective MC's teammates from their POVs (Atelier's for @122 Generation, Aine's for @WavePearl)?

 

Take your time, then. Methinks it'd be nice to see how an MC (in your case, Aine) thinks of their companions, so...

Never thought of doing one yet, but we'll get there when we get there. Maybe after the Spikeford episode is done. I'm sure Atelier has his thoughts about his companions as well.

 

So Atelier's version for post-Spikeford, eh? Okay~

 

Amethyst, huh? I thought we already got that one from the moon lair -- does the shadow one have its own variant of amethyst? Or should we retcon the luna one to make room for the shadow-amethyst? Or what?
