@WavePearl You mentioned a king in the last post. Are you referring to the Dragon King that takes up that particular section, or is there an even higher power?
@ChocoChicken No--I'm referring to the ruler of Ardamore. You'll get to meet him at some point, since your heroics do reach the royal city.
Sorry to say this everyone, but I think I’m going to drop out of this RP. It’s getting harder for me to keep up with it and I don’t want to hold back the story for you guys.
Bye-bye @RadEmpoleon. Anyway, I have a question: who will take control of the store clerks? @WavePearl or whoever in the store?
@Laserdragon14 @sanianisa @ChocoChicken @122 Generation @Kecleon352 Runes in Ardamore Enchanted items are everywhere in Ardamore, and many of these often receive their enchantment via a rune--a magical glyph. So far, there are six different ranks of runes known: Minor Lesser Middle Major Great Mega A clue to a rune's ranking is how brightly it glows. A Minor Rune will only faintly glow, while a Mega Rune can light up an area with its glow. Runes can be used for offensive, defensive, or utility purposes, such as sharpening weapons. Spoiler: The list of all known runes Elemental/offensive runes: Rune of Earth Rune of the Rose Rune of the Wild Rune of the Tree Rune of the Flower Rune of the Mountain Rune of Fire Rune of the Ponyta Rune of the Phoenix Rune of Wind Rune of the Corviknight Rune of the Pidgeot Rune of Braviary Rune of Wings Rune of Water Rune of the Waterfall Rune of Mist Rune of the Sea Rune of Snow Rune of Thunder Rune of the Stars Rune of the Moon Rune of Dreams Rune of Light Rune of Dawn Rune of Healing Rune of the Sun Rune of the Laurel Rune of Song Rune of the Sword Rune of the Bow Rune of the Staff Rune of the Spear Rune of the Fan Defensive runes Rune of Life Rune of Peace Rune of the Shield Rune of Courage Rune of Illusion Rune of the Unicorn Rune of Wisdom Support runes Rune of the Stantler Rune of Balance Rune of Wishes Rune of Magic Rune of Time Rune of Fate Rune of the Lady Rune of the Lord Rune of the Knight Rune of Fortune Rune of Plenty Rune of Truth Rune of Justice Rune of the Tauros Summoning runes Rune of the Snowbird Rune of the Thunderbird Rune of the Firebird Rune of the Rainbow Rune of Silver Rune of the Fire Beast Rune of the Crystal Beast Rune of the Thunderbeast Rune of the Earth Titan Rune of the Water Titan Rune of the Sky Dragon Rune of Chronos Rune of Cosmos Rune of Yin Rune of Yang Rune of the Hero Rune of the Blades Rune of Creation Rune of the Diamond Rune of the Harp Rune of the Flute Rune of the Fiddle Rune of the Drum Rune of the Horn Rune of the Lute Rune of the Mandolin Rune of the Pipes Utility Runes Rune of Sharpening (popularly called a whetstone) Rune of the Eye Rune of the Hammer Rune of the Rogue Rune of Knowledge Rune of the Bridge Rune of the Book Rune of the Meowth Forbidden Runes Rune of Doom Rune of Pain Rune of the Skull Rune of Shadows Rune of Poison Rune of Sickness Rune of Tears Rune of the Arbok Rune of Chaos Rune of Destruction Rune of Darkness By no means exhaustive or complete!
@sanianisa It can boost someone's attack power, or summon Zacian, the Hero's Sword (only Great Runes of the Sword and Mega Runes of the Sword can summon Zacian)
@Laserdragon14 @sanianisa @ChocoChicken @122 Generation @Kecleon352 Potions in Ardamore Potions are common magical mixtures in Ardamore. The most common purpose is to heal, or bestow a beneficial effect or temporary transformation on the one that drinks it. But not all of them are meant to be drank--some of them are meant to be thrown to do magical damage in a pinch. Potions are ranked by grades from 1 to 7--the higher the grade of the potion, the more potent it is: Diluted Potion (grade 1) Potion (grade 2) Super Potion (grade 3) Hyper Potion (grade 4) Mega Potion (grade 5) Ultra Potion (grade 6) Max Potion (grade 7) A potion's color doesn't necessarily signal what it does--red potions are Potions of Life, green potions are Potions of Magic, and white sparkling potions are Elixirs--a rare and valuable potion that completely heals the drinker. Spoiler: List of known potions, and what they do Potion of Life--heals the drinker. The higher the grade, the more it heals (red) Potion of Magic--restores magic power. The higher the grade, the more it heals (green) Potion of Seeing--allows the drinker to see what they are supposed to do next for a brief moment (dull yellow) Potion of Agility--allows the drinker to move faster, jump higher, and traverse rough terrain with ease (purple) Potion of Fire--sets an area blaze when thrown. (orange) Potion of Ice--freezes an area when thrown (cyan) Potion of Thunder--electrifies an area when thrown (bright yellow) Potion of Shrinking--shrinks the drinker to the size of a Pichu for an hour (yellow with black) Potion of Mist--turns the user invisible for an hour (clear with fog) Potion of Power--makes the user's physical attacks more powerful (dull red) Potion of Elements--protects against all kinds of elemental damage (colorful) Potion of Poison--poisons anything in an area when thrown (bright green) Potion of Protection--makes the user invincible for an hour (bright pale blue) Elixirs--a powerful potion that completely heals the drinker (white/rainbow) By no means exhaustive or complete!
@WavePearl for things like Geo Pebbles and Gravelerocks, can we buy them from a store? Or do we have to find them during our adventures?
After Aine did that thing with the magical song I can only imagine her accidentally singing the wrong note and then a whirlwind going through the room, or some similar chaos. Help
@ChocoChicken Actually, Aine knows how to control her magical music very well at this stage--but she did have those kinds of mishaps as an Eevee apprentice.
@Shadowlaser14 @SAF the Nekomancer @ChocoChicken @122 Generation @Shadow Sneak Battle in Ardamore Your character starts with 100 HP--you can level up by defeating monsters and finishing quests. Leveling is fixed, a la Paper Mario, so you only need 100 EXP to level every time) Your HP and status effects (both positive and negative) are color coded: Green means your HP is okay Yellow means you could use some healing... Red means you are in danger, and you need to heal NOW! Negative Statuses: Poison is purple--you will steadily lose HP until cured. Paralysis is light yellow--you can't move, and your attacks aren't as effective. Sleep is lavender--you will sleep until awakened or attacked. Burn is orange--your attacks won't be as powerful, and you won't move as quickly. Freeze is cyan--you won't be able to do anything until thawed. Positive statuses: Haste is light blue--you will move faster for one battle Regen is light green--your HP and magic power will steadily recover for one battle, or for two in game hours out of battle Aura is gold--you are invincible for one battle Blessed is pink--you are protected from both physical and magical effects for one battle Power is peach--your attacks are more powerful for a little while. When you post what your character does, I'll roll on an RNG set to 1-100. Anything above 50 is a hit, anything below 50 is a miss. Anything above 75 is a Critical Hit! Anything below 25 is a Critical Failure...
Sorry that I didn’t mention this earlier but I’ve recently had a surgery so I’m not feeling up to rping rn. So I’ll just go ahead and drop out.
